I think people are way to sensitive on name/nickname calling. I would absolutely think it would be hilarious if a black person called my kid vanilla.....JMO!

what about white chocolate Jason Williams? lol
Posted by: UMike | August 21, 2015 at 09:11 AM
The more I see of Cager, the more I think he's going to end up being a freak receiver. Maybe not this year, because of all the guys ahead of him, but down the line. I don't think he gets redshirted and watch out for him and Nkoju on end zone fades

You want white chocolate? Here's my candidate:

I think Cager won't redshirt but he may be limited to red zone situations early.

Might have to do with how healthy our WR's stay this year. I really thought Brady would be breaking out, that kid is super talented and has size.

Right. At this point it's all guessing anyway. But he sure does look good climbing the ladder.

Yep
@DanWolken: Jimbo’s coaching rep took a hit in 2012 (N.C. State loss when they were 5-0). Jameis issues overshadowed 2013. https://t.co/shIWmbKdbW

Now Go Canes be honest...if there was a similar article about why Golden wasn't getting respect you wouldn't have shared it lol...I do agree with the article though. Dam I didn't realize that Jimbo has signed the top class in he ACC every year his been at FSU.

Good article above, one of the few so called experts to predict us to compete for the coastal and come in second behind Gtech. He points to the continued deficiencies of goldens defense as the anchor that's continuing to weigh this program down. Maybe with Kaaya we can just out score people but if Al plays that bullshit conservative offense again like last year to save his butt buddy Dno, then it won't matter how good Kaaya is because the O will never be on the field. Our coach couldn't care less about the university of Miami football program because anyone who sacrifices the good of the team to help out his incompetent buddy keep his job is a scumbag in my book. If I was james coley and Al pulls that crap again this year then I be throwing Al under the bus Every chance I get.

Butt buddies and scumbags. Very perceptive and insightful

You and Go...both had antagonizing come backs lol....IMO, if we dont agree we should just say why we dont agree, no need for the extras. JMO of course.
Posted by: UMike | August 21, 2015 at 12:57 PM
Haters like Lurker and Go Canes are incabable of doing that Umike. Because these guys have no knowledge of real football. So when we who do or media experts constantly point out the Defensive defisiancies of Al and Dno, all they can do is come back with worthless internet stats or smart ass comments trying to bait people. I don't even know why people even go back and forth with these dudes because there so set in there ways that they will defend a coach who purposely held back his offense to protect his bff D coordinator. If that's not a unpardonable offense then I don't know what is but I gues to the untrained eye they still think Al is a good coach but all of us who have played and coached the game, we know better. I mean come on now, Go Canes is an admitted non football player and idk about Lurker but based on his senseless arguments on here I would say his never played a down in his life at any meaningful level as well. Just my humble opinion. Lol
Posted by: NicKane | August 21, 2015 at 12:59 PM
We all need to do a better job at replying and sharing our opinions imo...we obviously wont agree on all things and some of us are pretty set in our views, but still needs to be civil around here.

CANESPACE is WAR!!!!
and that's why I love it
Posted by: SinisterCane | August 21, 2015 at 01:04 PM
Guys like lurker and Go canes should be banned because all they do is troll this site trying to bait people into arguments. That's all the do! It's so obvious and management needs to get these guys inline because they ruin an otherwise great blog with constant condescending remarks to anyone who doesn't share there opinion.

Have you ever seen someone use a 2-gap technique with success? I don't trust anything that comes out of Golden's mouth about switching to a more aggressive approach, slick AL can sell water to a mermaid
Posted by: SinisterCane | August 21, 2015 at 01:12 PM
I wish I had played football so I could be smart enough to use the term butt buddy and sound so well spoken about the game like you do Nic.
Take a poll and see who else on here played anything beyond Jr. High football before spouting off your nonsense you ignorant homophobe.
Posted by: Go Canes | August 21, 2015 at 01:12 PM
Well Im hoping there is a change. The players have all talked about it, so hopefully true.
Posted by: UMike | August 21, 2015 at 01:13 PM
Well there goes the whole being civil idea...
Posted by: UMike | August 21, 2015 at 01:13 PM
When someone puts out comments like "butt buddies" and "scumbags" about real people then it shows they have no real intelligent thoughts to put out. It's phony internet fake toughness and and about as relevant as the "I played the game" BS. Lots of people played the game, doesn't mean they're qualified run a college defense.
I always thought the spirit of canespace was to stay away from the personal insults. Guess these are ok again. It's one thing to criticize the coaches and their defense, call them incompetent, or whatever. They're in the public eye, they're paid big bucks, and it comes with the territory. I have zero problem with that.

Lurker..a personal attack (by rules on the Space anyway) mean personal between bloggers, not coaches. Just trying to keep it a little more civil around here...blog on

Posted by: NicKane | August 21, 2015 at 01:07 PM
Let me get this right. You want me banned because I called you out for personal insults to the coaches that add nothing to the discussion.
Makes sense.
Posted by: Lur-ker | August 21, 2015 at 01:18 PM
I played RB/DB/WR on NCAA 12 and was a BEAST!

Posted by: UMike | August 21, 2015 at 01:18 PM
Is that right? So it's ok to say that the coaches are bu********* buddies and scumbags? You sure about that? See, I can see calling them stupid about football, incompetent, whatever, but when it descends to a level like that, I'm not so sure that's in the spirit. I mean, that's the problem with anonymous comments, people say stuff they would never say to someone's face.
