The Game
No. 21 Miami hits the road to face Nebraska in the 2015 Big Ten/ACC Challenge presented by The United States Marine Corps on Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. ET.

The Big Ten/ACC Challenge
Miami is 3-5 in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, with an 0-4 mark on the road and a 3-1 record at home. The ACC has won 10 of the 16 Challenges played to date; there have been two ties.

The Coach
Head coach Jim Larrañaga has a 566-384 overall record in his 32nd season as a head coach. He is 96-50 in his fifth season at the University of Miami, with a 41-29 mark in ACC play.

The Weather
Projected temperatures on game day: Coral Gables - 83/73; Lincoln, Neb. - 35/21.

The Series
Miami is 1-4 in the all-time series against Nebraska, which dates back to the 1951-52 season. The Canes are 1-2 at home against the Cornhuskers, 0-2 on the road and 0-0 at neutral sites. Miami lost the last matchup with Nebraska, falling to the Cornhuskers, 60-49, on Dec. 4, 2013 at the Pinnacle Bank Center in Lincoln, Neb., also in the Big Ten / ACC Challenge.

Butch is the best recruiter among the candidates...Hes not the one who needs to study film but the players on the field...Look Butch knows what it takes to win the NC. Hes actually been in more NCs than all the other candidates put together...its a shame that he even needs to interview for the job...the guy gave us the greatest team that was ever assembled...brought more money to the school than all of these other chumps....the U deserves what its about to get by choosing someone else..we dont even deserve Butch...but its the way that smart people are treated...they make it look easy so they are not appreciated for their talents.

The people interviewing him were taken aback by his lack of any specific knowledge. Like some guy looking for one last payday before he retires for good.

If they hire Schiano that is the admin closing the casket on what Miami football used to be. I understand a Richt hire, although it will relegate us to also-ran status. Schiano getting this job tells us Miami will always be a third tier ACC team.

The Top 4 are Good, and All are 3 or 4 Times Better than Golden.Richt is the Home run Hire. That's Worth 4-6 more 4 or 5 Star Recruits just by Him being Named the Coach. Not saying the Others Couldn't be Great Coaches, but Richt is Known and Plus He's a Winner. We Need a Coach that can Recruit, We'll Known Now and Can Coach. All Would be Good, but Richt is 3 or 3 extra Wins a Year. If AL would've Gotten Rid of the D Coordinator, The "U" would've been at least 10-2.
