Another National Signing Day (NSD) is now just around the corner and just like the opening ceremony at the Olympic Games every four years you really never know quite what to expect.
However, we can be almost certain that head games, hat games, misdirection plays, double switches and some dirty dealing and double crossing will almost definitely be on the day's agenda.
The only thing that is clear is that at some designated time in the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 3, 2016 the NCAA will declare NSD open for business at college campuses all around the Nation with what basically amounts to a loud proclamation of: "Let the Games begin!"
Scanners and fax machines (do they still use those things?) will begin to spring to life with what is the life blood of any college football team: A National Letter of Intent (NOI) from high school seniors and players across the Country.
Both coaches and fans alike will alternately cheer and curse as the news of who signs where comes out in rapid-fire succession as each NOI is received and formally approved by the compliance departments at each school.
Spontaneous celebrations of joy will break out and a few cell phones will probably be smashed in mad desperation about the one that got away.
To follow the fast-paced action, of course you can tune into Canespace as our recruiting gurus will be on hand all day to report each official "Welcome to The U!" as it is announced.
Van, that would be, as the kids say, gangster!

Bret Bielema shading #Gators: “Florida kind of the new Ole Miss. They’re doing some things recruiting that kind of shocks you a little bit.”

Just watched a Bama report from their facilities, walking past a wall with nfl jerseys of Bama players in the league.
Oh we can play that game. We can play it all day. We r the best at that game too.

Epi...people can choose to be disappointed about anything at anytime. All depends on EXPECTATIONS. To be disappointed today U could site the following issues:
1. No big dominant DTs.
2. Lost one Big Byrd.
3. Needed one maybe two more WRs.
4. No HUGE positive surprises...yet!

GC, bilema's mouth is going to get him in trouble. However, he's saying what we fans openly say but coaches can't openly talk about.

Edgerrin's message to his nephew, Jeff James:
“Welcome to The ‘U’ Nephew…Don’t worry about the recruiting ratings, (They don’t know no better lol) they didn’t get to see you play because U only played ur Sr. year… We also declined attending all the High School Camps & Playing on Loaded High School teams on purpose… Went all in for 1 school…(No other visits, no nothing) Growing up U knew it was only 1 place for ‘U’… Always told you everything will Fall in place if you do the right things…
If you think signing day is a good feeling ….Wait until you feel what it’s like to Come out of that Smoke in front of Real ‘UM’ fans!! Congrats and I can’t wait to see you hit somebody, stand over em’, & look em’ in the eyes right before u talk ish!!! #MiamiStyle Lol #Canes4Life

Big windy, my point exactly. And I can't imagine no one at the U thought of putting that wall up in our facility.

I totally agree with Edge. Folks getting worked up about recruits the U missed. Celebrate the ones who signed with the U...I think have a good class.
About Florida kids - most of the high school teams (IMG) are loaded, so who are the competing against every week. Kids are relocating from other states to attend school in Florida to boost their recruitment...if you weren't born and raised in Florida, U r not a Florida kid. I think folks need to pay closer attention as to where these kids were born.

Whoever gets the Michigan job after Harbaugh bolts back to the show for $10 mill a year is going to walk into a monster.
Harbaugh: plan to have first week of spring practice in Florida, during Michigan's Spring Break.

So our WR depth will be:
Coley – 4 stars
Berrios – 4 stars
Cager – 4 stars
Langham – 3 stars
Lewis – 4 stas
Bruce – 4 stars
Mullins – 4 stars
Richards – 4 stars
We might not have the numbers, but we sure do have the projected talent! And NO Redshirts here.
If we can keep away from injuries this will be a talented group.

Edge's nephew played one year of high school and had 9 Interceptions (I think). That is amazing. I never heard of that happening before. Didn't see him play in high school, but stats speak volumes. Based on his stats and his big Unk, I would welcome him to the class.

When is Cheerleaders signing day?
Posted by: MDCane | February 03, 2016 at 02:39 PM
It's hard to celebrate when u missed out on so many that u knew would get us out of this funk we've been in for so long and then watching the coopers, Ridley, and Henry's of the world celebrate nat'l ships that maybe they could of helped us win.
At least we have some over all speed back at the wr position, a mlb and safety help. I sure hope the coach kool is the real deal and Willis too. Not to enthralled yet with rumph or Banda on the recruiting trail and to the herb it's a head scratcher as to why we have a cb coach and a safety's coach, why not just a db coach and go hire a lb coach so Diaz doesn't have double duty.
