Terrance Sullivan

So we still have 22 of the 26 guys in this class that was a Top 10 Class.

raizecane

Moving on up.......

Dude on a Pale Horse

lose someone to Pitt? Pitt is like the black hole of college football.

Posted by: Lur-ker | February 02, 2016 at 02:15 PM

Weren't we trying to flip him from Pitt? That's different than losing him to Pitt.

Lur-ker

Doesn't matter.

Pitt or Miami?

Not really a choice is it?

But, whatever.

Lur-ker

So what's the word about Byrd, Ohio?

Is Byrd the word ..... or he gone?

After last couple of weeks, what's your final prediction?

Old Skool

Coming in 6th in the Lung Association's annual measurements of year-round air particle pollution after such dreamy oases as Merced, Bakersfield, Fresno and Long Beach is Pittsburgh which I presume makes it the Beijing of Pennsylvania.

Lur-ker

Soup with the rapid fire articles. Excellent.

Odds on an article/post tomorrow with final predictions for those of us who don't follow as close as the gurus on here. Kinda like a scorecard?

orange 'n green in the vein

A collection of goldhen girls well on their way to joining the preceding classes as being far below acceptable.

The pyrite ROE of Miami football ladies and gentlemen! No wonder they capacity of the stadium was screaming to shed perpetually empty seats.

toledocane

Pittsburgh is a beautiful town. The sports fans are some of the rudest you'll find (and annoying), but the city itself is really nice tucked in between the rivers and hills.

With that said.... GO CANES tomorrow!!!!!!

BREAKING: Sources close to his recruitment expect Wellington 4-Star WR Ahmmon Richards to sign w Miami over Alabama & Auburn tomorrow #Canes

Posted by: Ohio_Cane | February 02, 2016 at 01:55 PM

Great news. Finally, its great to win a recruiting battle with Alabama, Auburn (Richards) and Ohio State (Bruce). If Williams and a few more surprises, this will be the greatest WR class we have had in years. Several NFL draft picks will come from this class.

RE: Byrd

My heart says Canes, my head says UT...

Go Canes!

Kid is all Canes.

So what's the pick?

nemo2002

A-well-a ev'rybody's heard about the Byrd;
Byrd, Byrd, Byrd; B-Byrd's the word.
Don't you know 'bout the Byrd?
Well ev'rybody knows that Byrd’s the word!

Ohio_Cane

So what's the pick?

Posted by: Lur-ker | February 02, 2016 at 04:25 PM
-----------------------------------------

I'm sticking with all my picks from the other day. Byrd to Miami. Here's the rest:

WR Ahmmon Richards – CANES
WR Randrecous Davis – CANES
WR Javon Wims – UGA ***
WR Eli Stove – AUBURN ***
WR Latrell Williams – CANES
S Romeo Finley – CANES
TE Jovani Haskins – CANES ***
OL Tre Johnson – CANES ***
DT Marcel Southall – OU
DT Kobe Jones – MISS ST
DT Tyreic Martin – CANES ***
ATH Shyheim Carter – BAMA
DB Tyler Byrd – CANES
DB Henry Miller – CANES
DB CJ McWilliams – UF
Kelvin Harmon - NC State ***

*** means they've already announced. I've been updating as they happen.

Ohio_Cane

^^ I do NOT think Randrecous Davis picks us now, but I'm sticking with all of them.

BigWindyCane1

I don't have any inside information that leads me to this conclusion, but my prayer is that Byrd and Finley are all Canes.

VfB_Cane

Soccer rumors are the worst. Imagine articles written daily that Kaaya could leave for Notre Dame or USC... or Watson is going to Bama.

European professional basketball is even worse. You have players on loan, 4 week tryout deals, exit clauses etc ...
I've seen a group of players tanking late in the regular season so they could join playoff teams in another country in time.

Lur-ker

Thanks for that

The names below are not on your list. Do you think they all stick (or, in the case of Mullins, qualify)?

Sam Bruce
Dionte Mullins
Joseph Jackson
Travis Homer
Malek Young
Cedrick Wright
Michael Irvin II
Jeff James

Lamar at UK better or worse for him being able to pull SoFla kids?

They all stick. No question. Jeff James is the only question mark. Not sure if the staff accepted his commitment.

Old Skool

Dear Tyler
Here's one other thing to consider: If you don't make it to the league, according to the 2015-2016 College Salary Report, your bachelor's degree from UM will be worth 10% more than one from UT the moment you start a career.

And where would you like to work? Don't plan on counting on a strong network of Tennessee alums to help outside the Volunteer state

UMike

Mullins could be an academic loss, hopefully not. Byrd is a Vol. Way to much smoke

Go Canes!

100% Canes.

Lur-ker

I thought Jeff James (or his more famous and wealthy uncle) was/were paying his way through if there wasn't a schollie available

Yea, we get it

0/10 trolling, you'd think GD/TS would get better at this with more experience but instead like goldhen's girls it never improves Mike.

Bowl flush time 2016 is here.

Apparently it is. Now.

BigWindyCane1

Of all the classes Golden recruited, it seems 2014 had the most players that contributed. The funny thing is that they could have done more. I think we will have a better feel for their true potential once CMR gets the in the weight room then on the field. CMR is a no excuses coach and I like that

Go Canes!

😐

Keep the faith!

Contributed to losing records against Fbs teams.

Plenty of nuggets to keep clean from resurfacing next season.

Still flatlining GD/TS, need some non exposed id's to go to under Smart Mark.

Ohio_Cane

86, just a heads up. I'll be limited tomorrow morning early. Until around 9. Then I'm full go. Got kids in the am and have to take one to sitter at 8 and other to school at 830

Go Canes!

It's a new day.

The kids are all Cane...

BigWindyCane1

My prayer for Finley was answered. Welcome to the U!

Old Skool

Wherefore art thou Romeo?

He be here.

BigWindyCane1

Miami beats out Clemson and GaTech, two ACC rivals. It starts by Beating them on the recruiting trail first, which leads to beating them on the football field in the years to come. Big win for Richt and his staff

UMike

Very happy to be wrong about Finley. The smoke was blowing that way lately, but had to stick to my pick lol...nice pick up. We will add Richards also and close nicely. Still think Byrd is gone though.

Terrance Sullivan

Let's put in another Top 15 class like we have averaged over the previous 5 years but actually Coach the talent up to at least A ACC Coastal, Bowl Game Win, and winning 10 or more Games this Fall and moving Forward to accomplish even more.

Tim

Byrd's twitter still has all these pictures and things regarding his commitment to the Hurricanes. If he leaves now he is a punk!!! To hell with Larry Scott too. We gave him the opportunity of a lifetime and this is how he repays us by trying to steal our recruits! No Sweat the U will be fine if this clown choses Tennessee.
