Cry harder, the whambulance will be along shortly to collect the tear full.

Dude on a Pale Horse

We need this Slaton kid to choose Miami.

Sarasota 'cane

Nobody's crying OGV. It's simply offensive and no one wants Soup to shut the blog down again.

Dude on a Pale Horse

^^^ I cried a little.

Sarasota 'cane

Ha Ha!!

CGNC

I have been off the blog for awhile due to work but my fluence in OGV-speak is lagging. What was that post about? Or do I care to know?

CGNC

Try us we let then gators know and then bulls know been kicked out both stadiums. That's weak if your so smart you would know you crossed a line.

Go,GoCanes!

Can't tell you how little I care what that mentally unstable, psychotic, under-medicated, sociopathic, obsessive compulsive, shit stain on society has to say about me or my family.

All that repulsive, misogynistic, very telling ramble proves is everything I've ever said.

That dude is completely insane and desperately needs psychological help.

VA Cane

You have any idea how dangerous it is driving the wambulance w tears welling up? No I didn't think u did.

Dude on a Pale Horse

^^^ Can I get a "There it is right there!"?

Dude on a Pale Horse

Damn it Epi.

Go,GoCanes!

I am thrilled with the win Va.

So happy with the direction we're headed and the man leading the way.

Two or three more recruiting cycles and we'll be back on the top of the mountain, with a coach who obviously won't leave us for the pros.

Things are good and getting better with every new commit.

Miami after three games, points for, allowed over last twenty seasons:

1997: (1-2) PF: 074, PA: 058
1998: (2-1) PF: 124, PA: 056
1999: (2-1) PF: 103, PA: 042
2000: (2-1) PF: 137, PA: 058
2001: (3-0) PF: 137, PA: 028
2002: (3-0) PF: 154, PA: 054
2003: (3-0) PF: 124, PA: 045
2004: (3-0) PF: 102, PA: 023
2005: (2-1) PF: 055, PA: 046
2006: (1-2) PF: 068, PA: 054
2007: (2-1) PF: 067, PA: 063
2008: (2-1) PF: 096, PA: 056
2009: (2-1) PF: 078, PA: 082
2010: (2-1) PF: 100, PA: 039
2011: (1-2) PF: 072, PA: 067
2012: (2-1) PF: 092, PA: 094
2013: (3-0) PF: 132, PA: 039
2014: (2-1) PF: 095, PA: 058
2015: (3-0) PF: 125, PA: 053
2016: (3-0) PF: 153, PA: 023

This is the second best start offensively in 20 years, beaten only by a point by the 2002 squad. Defensively, this ties 2004's team for the best start after three games.

After three games, the 153 points scored leaves the 2016 Hurricanes only 98 and 97 points away from what the 2006 and 2007 versions scored over the entire season.

Dude on a Pale Horse

University of God's Chosen football team bus struck an overpass killing 4. Isnt that ironic, dont ya think?

TonyCane

This was sub-par competition, and comparing Miami to Rape-esee based on common opponent isn't really valid... I understand all that, BUT... This is a different Miami team. This is far removed from what we've seen the last 15 years.

We will take our lumps this season, undoubtedly, but the future looks really bright. The near future.

That narrow spread (3.5 points, right?) was predicated on a lot of mediocre Miami football since 2006, and a number of underperformances since 2011. On paper, there is not much difference in this year's Miami squad versus the version that went 8-5 last year. But on the field....so much better.

Go,GoCanes!

Canes had three more sacks and TWELVE tackles for loss today.

Wow.

You ready to tell me I was right about the defense then? I was the one that brought up the TFLs and sacks last year. ;)

Sarasota 'cane

MSU ND tied 7-7.

Go,GoCanes!

Lol TD.

Never liked D'No but I'm loyal to our coaches and players to a fault.

I'm all CMR all day every day now, win or lose.

Don't think I'll need to defend these guys much though!

Dude on a Pale Horse

^^^ I dont think you'll have to either. We just need much, much more talent now. Seems like everyone is committed already though.

SinisterCane

Chad Thomas is gonna be the first defensive player drafed

Absolutely right. And while it's certainly possible (probably likely) that we'd beat App State with the prior regime - they handled a similar Georgia Tech 4 out of 5 tries - it would have been much closer.

Lur-ker

Why is OCD allowed to post?

Pathetic

We almost nailed the final score. Should have gone with the extra TD we probably wanted to!

The first step to health is admitting the problem.

Sarasota 'cane

Imagine what CMR will do with his own recruits! He could beat an Al Golden team with Al's players!!

TonyCane

Absolutely, Sarasota. Absolutely.

Feels great to discuss the CANEZ handing out curb stompin' for a change and not the usual post game civil war on the Space

TonyCane

Fortunately the good people at Toho Studios provided a analogous example of what Miami would do to Appalachian State in the form of this clip:

On Paper it could be argued this is the least talented team we've fielded in several years. Maybe even the shallowest team in longer than that.

Again.. Subpar competition, but still a testament to coaching. It matters.

Lur-ker

Good practice game for GT.

GT will be much harder with aggressive freshmen linebackers sometimes over-pursuing.

I've been trying for the longest to Bootleg this some'bitch

Dude on a Pale Horse

GT wont be easy. The 2 weeks to prepare is a blessing. It will be interesting to see how prepared we are, as opposed to the last regime, where we got to see how prepared we were not. Lol.

Sarasota 'cane

GT has Clemson on Thursday. That should help a bit!

thirstybuzzardcane

We just need good penetration on the DL against GT!

thirstybuzzardcane

I hope the Sooners make Urban Meyer cry tonight.

thirstybuzzardcane

IraqiCane and I get the 🏆 for game prediction. Hope you guys took the money line on Louisville like I told u! That spread dropped like hot cakes by game time.

With a team like GT, that is a huge 2-edged sword.

Assignment football and DISCIPLINE is the order of the day against Paul Johnson offenses. Otherwise you get gashed.

Sarasota 'cane

Well CMR played GT every year at Georgia so there shouldn't be any surprises for him.

thirstybuzzardcane

Richt is 13-2 against Georgia Tech. I believe one of those losses was against Paul Johnson's team.

Dude on a Pale Horse

I didnt know coach had such a good record against GT.

AfriCane

question is, y doesn't GT fire paul Johnson? they know they will never be relevant that cockroach shit offense. the best they will ever be is play spoiler...

SJMPARMAN

Georgia Tech beat Georgia in 2014 in overtime 30-24. GT also beat them 45-42 in 2008. That 2008 Georgia Tech team pasted us for over 400 yards rushing I seem to recall. Other than that though, Georgia won the games. Most were relatively close though.

I look at Richt's years at Georgia differently than most. The AD really meddled on the football side telling Richt who to hire offensively, and sometimes defensively in his last ten years there. He won't get none of that meddling with us. He obviously has chosen an extremely talented staff on his own based on the results so far. Yes, we aren't even into ACC play yet but this team has a different vibe than any team we have had around here in a long long time.

SinisterCane

Jimbo is 6-4 last ten games
