Our RBs next year would be Walton, Homer, Mcfarland. That's gonna be fun to watch. All 3 should play.

I think you see and believe what you want about what I post.
That's your shortcoming not mine.
You obviously go right past the literally hundreds of times I've typed the words I agree 100%, great point, exactly right and compliments I pay to other posters.
If you don't like what I write you can do one of two things, ignore it or ban me. I'm fine with either.
But your constant posts that do nothing but name call like a four year old are boring and childish.

Ohio.. I like the idea of Walton and Homer. I was hoping to see Homer some this year.

Attrition will be heavy, but ultimately good for the program.

Don't think there's any way we get to 85 even by the end of next season.
How many do you think we sign this go round?

86..I think that was for practice purposes...hes to good a RB IMO. Besides, if Yearby and Gus leave we are thin there.

They seem to keep holding off on offering Collier and a couple of others but we are nowhere near that level number of commits.
Do you think we really have that many silent guys out there?

GoCanes...U should really start your own blog.
U could call it: "Butterflies and Rainbows Are Orange and Green".
Theme song could be "Imagine" by John Lennon.
Give out aroma therapy kits for joining.
Have "safe spaces" for bloggers to go to.

Go... I dont think anyone here questions if you can take a lick...numerous people here have praised you for that. I BELIEVE Soup is talking about how now matter what, everything to you is great or trending up etc even in the face of overwhelming evidence. I think its great you're always positive, just think sometimes reality gets lost lol... We could go 2-10 and you will talk about how good the recruiting class is and next year we will be deep enough and how noone is Alabama etc.
Again, its great you are always so positive, but sometimes our Cane vision needs a little reality also

Good job here! There's been a lot of stupidity posted here over the years, and this is the stupidityiest.
These kids have no memory of Miami being anything other than a second rate joke of a program. The last time they saw this team beat their in state rival they were in middle school.
Meanwhile they've seen UF and FSU win ships, and the sec rule CFB.
Miami has been crap their whole lives. Miami to a 17 year old kid is not what you want Miami to be.
These kids need to be sold on this program.

I think what Go Canes rightly describes are realistic positions on upside for the program over the next few years. His positions have been similar to mine. That said, there were reasons to hope in the Golden era and they were proven wrong. So many of you here were right on your early, pessimistic assessments.
But Richt is not Golden and Golden is not Shannon. For the sake of the program, I hope Go Canes is right in his assessment.

Miami Hurricanes’ Jamal Carter to play in Shrine Game
From news about incoming safeties, we take you to updates on outgoing safeties:
Miami senior Jamal Carter will play in the East-West Shrine Game, the game’s host organization announced. The game is 3 p.m. Jan. 21, 2017 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. NFL Network will carry coverage.
Carter, a Miami Southridge alum from Naranja, was relied on to clean up mistakes made by the Hurricanes’ young, aggressive front seven. He tied for the team lead in tackles (79) and broke up three passes. He made double-digit tackles three times as a senior, including a career-high 13 in UM’s Nov. 26 win over Duke. He also made nine solo tackles Oct. 1 at Georgia Tech.
He is the seventh UM senior to accept a postseason all-star invite. Cornerback Corn Elder, right guard Danny Isidora, safety Rayshawn Jenkins and punter Justin Vogel will play in the Senior Bowl. Cornerback Adrian Colbert and fullback Marquez Williams will play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

Recruiting: DB Derrick Smith commits to Miami Hurricanes
Miami’s rebuilding of its secondary will include a three-star safety from Jacksonville.
Derrick Smith tweeted his commitment to Miami on Tuesday.
Smith, from Class 3A state champion Jacksonville-Trinity Christian, is listed at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds. According to 247Sports, he also holds offers from North Carolina State, Kentucky, Mississippi State, UNC, Virginia Tech and in-staters UCF, USF and FAU.
ESPN, which like 247Sports and Rivals rate him as a three-star recruit, says he has limited top-end speed but has adequate size, strength and toughness. He also plays receiver in high school.
According to the Jacksonville Times-Union, he recorded 52 tackles and three interceptions last season. He also had a pair of receiving touchdowns.
His work in the state title game, a 24-13 win over Hollyw0od-Chaminade, reportedly included “one brutal hit after another” and a game-sealing interception.
“This is a Power Five talent, with Group of Five speed and explosiveness,” ESPN wrote, “but he is a very good football player with versatility. He plays hard and could blossom over the next few years.”
Three-star safety prospects Amari Carter (Palm Beach Gardens High) and Billy Gibson (Miami Southridge) are also committed to Miami. The Hurricanes, who lose senior starters Jamal Carter and Rayshawn Jenkins, will enter the offseason with junior-to-be Jaquan Johnson leading the way at that position.
Coaches have spoken highly of freshman Romeo Finley, who played mainly on special teams this year. Another special-teamer, redshirt freshman Robert Knowles, stood out among the second-stringers in spring drills. Freshmen Jeff James Jr. and Cedrick Wright also return.
