Dude on a Pale Horse

If we can get Harley, Thomas, McFarland and 1 OL. That'd be a haul.

CaneRock

But distance & academic issues aren't in our favor with His recruitment, I think He goes to Louisville.

And who's Pouncey?

WWIN

AND, in the shock of the century, U've seen Allison play ZERO snaps, yet U want UGA's QB because he scored on TCU?

Posted by: Ohio_Cane | December 30, 2016 at 02:17 PM

Y'all know I hate to play 😈 advocate 😂 but...

You've seen Allison and Perry play ZERO snaps, seen Rosier beat a ranked Duke team (something Kaaya NEVER did), yet you know that Kaaya is way better than those 3???

F(_)CK Harley! Don't want to be a cane, don't want him! I'll take pouncey over him any day as he's almost as fast and ain't no midget like Harley. Pouncey is like 6'3 and can run like a dear.

Dude on a Pale Horse

^^^ I'll take anything we can get right now.

Dude on a Pale Horse

^^^ And youre insane NicK.

Dude on a Pale Horse

^^^ But thats okay.

NicKane

Insane in the membrane! Lol

Dude on a Pale Horse

If Chad Thomas can play like Solomon Thomas next year...

Dude on a Pale Horse

I feel like Robert E Lee picking the UW, Bama game. My head knows Bama should win, but my sacred honor as an Idahoan prevents me from doing as such. Go Huskies!

KYcane

Did Nebraska borrow our offensive line for their bowl game?

SOUP

KYCane...it sure looks like it! Their LT is pure BASURA!

BigWindyCane1

Inconsistency hurt Kaaya's draft stock and it doomed the Canes hopes for the Coastal this season . Amazing that UNC beats the Canes at home during that brutal 4 game October stretch, but the Canes turn it around, close 5-0, beat good teams by two or more TDs, and will likely finish ranked in the top 25. UNC will finish with 5 losses, and might lose the best QB prospect in college football to the draft.

I would love to have these Canes that finished the season play any team outside of the top 5. When the Canes are off their game, they are mediocre. But when the Canes are on their game, they are a potential top 10 team.

Go Canes!

Started early in what is now becoming getting the serious drink on tonight.

Home waiting for the wife to finish getting ready before Ubering to an impromptu night before party.

At this point I can tell the first one I have tomorrow will determine my New Years Eve destiny.

If it goes down smooth, it's back on.

If not, going to be a long night of being sober guy watching amateur hour till after midnight.

Say what U want about Jimbo but that man can coach. Now that is the way U start the game! Are U paying attention Mark Richt???

Ten years until we won a bowl game. Ten years until we averaged under 20 points allowed per game. Congrats to team, CMR, and Manny.

That drive was all Dalvin, not Jimbo.

The difference is they get positive yardage running instead of smashing into a brick wall he way our backs do.

Rousey vs Nunes on FS1 tonight.

I guess Jimbo didnt recruit him...

Dude on a Pale Horse

Or train him.

CaneRock

Huh, and the whole time I thought Bob was doing the game, damn they sound alike LOL.

Herbieibis

Washington stacks the box on Dee and tries to make bama's qb beat them throwing. His average at best throwing but Bama wins a tight one 24-13. Clemson clubs Osu 31-17. Watson is the only qb that has a chance to beat Bama. They have jets at wr that will cause Bama problems. Clemson wins it all 27-20.
Fsu gets cake for a bowl, Michigan sux offensively.

Go Canes!

That was some great coaching on dalvins game changing run.

BEERicane

What a game

SinisterCane

FSU's oline holds like crazy

BEERicane

What a game!!!!!

BEERicane

So Francois throws a game-winning TD on the Noles final drive. Has Kaaya ever done that? Vs anyone?

BEERicane

Canes D gave up on average 9pts in the second half this year. Pretty damn good.

Dude on a Pale Horse

Rousey is over. She got rocked again.

TonyCane

Posted by: 30CINCO | December 31, 2016 at 12:51 AM

Will Cyborg ever fight Nunez?

30CINCO

Would have to be at a higher weight, and not for a title, if in the UFC. Cyborg is too big, 135 is too much for her to cut. She just got busted for PED's. Don't know the details, but I would bet it was for something to help her cut weight.

Dude on a Pale Horse

Rousey losing is bad for UFC though.

Dude on a Pale Horse

She needed to come back against someone easier.

Go Canes!

Fournette over Dalvin? This one will be interesting.

I wonder if this year's draft will mirror the Edge over Ricky Williams situation.

Believe it was Polian who shocked the world by passing the presumed best back and took Edge, which ended up being a genius move.

No matter when he goes, someone will be drafting a monster. That dude is the realest deal Ive seen in a long, long time.

Go Canes!

P.S. Does anyone have three extra strength Tylenol?

CGNC

Wow a Cane since 82 sighting!!!! How have you been?

SOUP

Cook reminds me of McGahee. Kid has skills.

CaneRock

Go Canes...and the media (particularly ESPissN) hated that $h!t. All they could talk about after He got drafted, was His dreads & gold teeth...I remember a dum@$$ reporter having the nerve to ask Him, "Are you afraid of crack?".

CaneRock

But y'know, another guy that doesn't get talked about much, but who I thought was on His way to being a great back, was Stephen McGuire. People forget how big He was when we beat FSU those 2 times in the early 90's.

CGNC

If BK has any doubts about leaving, he should go back and watch the first quarter and the first 9 minutes of the second quarter. He was way off target.

CGNC

^An extra year here could only improve him

Go Canes!

Posted by: CaneRock | December 31, 2016 at 09:26 AM

Yep. Such hypocrites. A few years later, after he blew up, they put him on the cover of their magazine with those same gold teeth.

I love that he never gave two s**ts what anyone thought.

You must be a self proclaimed M.D. like Dr.Phil. There was 38 seconds left so the game wasn't over. The Seminoles defense held the Wolverines offense from scoring.

The go ahead td is the accurate term. Game winning would be with no time left clock expiring or an untined down to end the game.

I disagree. What you describe is more like a walk-off TD. Sure all walk off TDs that result in a lead change are game-winning, not all game-winning TDs are walk-off.

DeAndre Francois was 9 for 27? Ouch. If Kaaya had a day like that (and he never has or never will) with all of that 5-star talent around Francois, many on this blog would be trashing him without any end in sight.

BEERicane

Dr H, great insult btw. Would have worked better if you were right. Classic working of an imbecile. Solid.

BEERicane

BWC, Francois has a big-time win to back up his faults. Kaaya, not so much. But truth be told, Francois does deserve criticism for his play last night. At least I think he does. But when it counted, he delivered. We don't have that behind center here.

In reality, I think Kaaya coming back next year is best for the program next year and in the short term after. But if not, oh well.

CaneRock

Might sound crazy, but...I think Richt deliberately called the beginning of the RAB the way He did to make a point.

I think Kaaya had His mind made up to declare before the game, not so much after.

BEERicane

Yup, I did get you. The appropriate thing would have been to apologize for the personal attack and admit you were wrong.

The good news is, I need a new Lurker. I used and abused him throughout 2016. I'm looking for a new azz to slay in 2017. Dr H has a strong application to be his replacement going,

Herbieibis

Watching sleights get hammered all night was like watching a rerun of Kaaya.
Fournette, barring a big time injury will be better than Cook in the NFL, but it does matter what team u go too! The thing with Cook is if he carries the ball 20 times 16 of those carries he would have less than 50 yes, it's those 4 home run carries u have to worry about. That's where he gets most of his yds. Did the same thing to us.

Herbieibis

Uh, that's Speights.

Go Canes!

At least I think he does. But when it counted, he delivered. We don't have that behind center here.

Posted by: BEERicane | December 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM

He really did deliver...a perfect handoff to Dalvin Cook all night, who then proceeded to savage the entire Michigan defense the entire night.

Give me a break with your big time win nonsense. Equating that win with Francios is as ridiculous as your constant bashing of Kaaya.

BEERicane

GC, I never said it was all because of him. But me made the winning throw. In crunch time. In a huge game.

BEERicane

*he. Eff

CaneRock

Speights showed more mobility and wherewithal to dump it to His emergency valve than Kaaya...the times He got away.

Go Canes!

Posted by: BigWindyCane1 | December 31, 2016 at 10:50 AM

Dont forget that absurdly awful pick six.

Kaaya sails two or three high passes early then finishes 19 for his last 21 with 4 TDs and he still gets hammered here by the usual suspects.

Imagine if he threw up a 9-27 with a pick six...

Go Canes!

Posted by: BEERicane | December 31, 2016 at 11:26 AM

This year Kaaya made that exact same throw to the exact same spot under the exact same or more pressure didn't he?

CaneRock

Can we all just agree that things have to be more perfect for Kaaya than most other QBs?

He needs the Air Coryell WR corp...JJ's O-Lines in Dallas...Nebraska's 95' running game...nobody to say anything about em' ever...baby powder in His cleats...etc..

BigWindyCane1

Two ACC v SEC matchups on right now. Louisville v LSU and GT v Kentucky. This might be an opportunity to show everyone that the ACC was better than the SEC this season from top to bottom.

Dude on a Pale Horse

Posted by: Go Canes! | December 31, 2016 at 11:29 AM

We should have went for 2?

BEERicane

Imagine if Kaaya had a crunch-time game winning TD throw in a meaningful game. That's all one can do. It's the stuff of fantasy.

I do dog Kaaya a lot. But it's entirely because he doesn't win enough vs P5 (in particular top25). If he won, it would shut a lot of us up. Crap, I'm looking to shut down the Kaaya bashing. I want to jump on his bandwagon. I want him to be the top QB going into the draft. But I think even the most unapologetic Kaaya supporters have to admit he wasn't even close to living up to the preseason Kaaya hype.

But one thing I have to give Kaaya credit for is he doesn't turn the ball over, and that alone is a major priority for a QB, even with that suspect OL.

1mg of Epi

Kaayas has a problem of expectations. He got, and still gets, so much hype that we all expected a heisman candidate.

It's like I always say..if you. set expectations low, you can't help but to over achieve.

CaneRock

...somebody to fluff His pillows...somebody to burp em'...somebody to blow on His soup...somebody to make His bubble bath...the most baby'ed QB in UM history...smh.

BEERicane

Rousey got $3M for that ass beating vs 100K to the champ. I'd rather be Rousey.

BigWindyCane1

The Canes haven't really recruited five star tight ends over the years, but the Canes are the best at developing tight ends, and the Canes have put many, many tight ends in the NFL. This is definitely tight end U!

I think I'd rather lose on a gutsy call for the win than losing to a deeper more talented team in OT.

BEERicane

There is something to be said for that Dude. Just me personally without a mobile QB and a shaky OL, I wouldn't call the 2pt conversion there.

Dude on a Pale Horse

They way we lost that game, was probably the most embarassing way possible, besides getting blown out. Regardless, give Kaaya some credit on that drive. At the very least its a flash of what he can be.

What's embarrassing is the fact that this years signing class has no memory of Miami ever beating FSU. It's not really a suprise that we don't pull in many blue chips when u consider that to them Miami is closer to a NCST than FSU.

The longer it goes, imo, the MVP of the bowl is going to come back.

If it was as done as it has been said, he would have announced already. Going back to CA to talk things over with his closest tells me he is still undecided.

My guess, he did not get a 1st or 2nd round grade from the committee. Yet, agents, friends, fam, etc have told him its possible.
