Less than 5 minutes to go down 17 and Wash. still trying to run the football. Been time to get the A-1 sauce out, they're done.

Yup. Petersen must have been paying tribute to (first half stubborn) OC Richt with those calls. I mean, he did have a decent year.

Beer he knows damn well what I'm talking about... but leave it to GC to try to fix it up 😂! I'm talking about how players GRADED out NOT QBR!

Dude on a Pale Horse

Well, UW has all kind of fight in them but as expected Bama D and talent over all is just too much.

Petersen is an amazing coach.

BigWindyCane1

Washington is finished. Washington just isn't good enough

BEERicane

UW is having to max protect in the passing game. It's a major issue.

BEERicane

I take that back. It wasn't roughing, it was acting!

BEERicane

The officiating here is awful. That was roughing!

BEERicane

You guys have to be talking about different metrics. QBR only applies to one position.

TonyCane

^^^ Oh for f*cks sake. Of all the retarded sh*t. 1st it was Jameis, then its Dalvin... lol. Some real comedy on this blog some times. Lets see in 3 years if he can win without Francios... lol.

Yes, it reminds me of the 90s. First it was Warrick Dunn. Then it was Peter Warrick. After seven years of that hype at FSU, I was half expecting a "Dunn Peters" to emerge and be a thorn in our side for four more years.

Go Canes!

I Agree that these rankings are about right. The Canes team that finished the season on a 5-0 streak could beat most ranked teams

Herbieibis

Huskies doing the right things defensively, making Hurts beat them throwing. Not that good of a passer, yet. Wash. Will need a t.o. Or 2 to get back in the game, if not this game is over.

WWIN

U-Dub is U-DONE! 😂😂😂

Dude on a Pale Horse

UW gonna be alright. But Coach Pete should have tried for the FG throw at the end there.

BEERicane

Washington messed up when they were getting a drive going and fumbled, flipping field position for the remainder of the half. And then obviously the pick-6. Also, Bama getting away with major holding,

Browning is looking like a rattled Kaaya.

Kaaya sails two or three high passes early then finishes 19 for his last 21 with 4 TDs and he still gets hammered here by the usual suspects.

Imagine if he threw up a 9-27 with a pick six...

The longer it goes, imo, the MVP of the bowl is going to come back.

If it was as done as it has been said, he would have announced already. Going back to CA to talk things over with his closest tells me he is still undecided.

My guess, he did not get a 1st or 2nd round grade from the committee. Yet, agents, friends, fam, etc have told him its possible.

What's embarrassing is the fact that this years signing class has no memory of Miami ever beating FSU. It's not really a suprise that we don't pull in many blue chips when u consider that to them Miami is closer to a NCST than FSU.

I think I'd rather lose on a gutsy call for the win than losing to a deeper more talented team in OT.

BigWindyCane1

The Canes haven't really recruited five star tight ends over the years, but the Canes are the best at developing tight ends, and the Canes have put many, many tight ends in the NFL. This is definitely tight end U!

BEERicane

Rousey got $3M for that ass beating vs 100K to the champ. I'd rather be Rousey.

CaneRock

1mg of Epi

Kaayas has a problem of expectations. He got, and still gets, so much hype that we all expected a heisman candidate.

It's like I always say..if you. set expectations low, you can't help but to over achieve.

BEERicane

Imagine if Kaaya had a crunch-time game winning TD throw in a meaningful game. That's all one can do. It's the stuff of fantasy.

I do dog Kaaya a lot. But it's entirely because he doesn't win enough vs P5 (in particular top25). If he won, it would shut a lot of us up. Crap, I'm looking to shut down the Kaaya bashing. I want to jump on his bandwagon. I want him to be the top QB going into the draft. But I think even the most unapologetic Kaaya supporters have to admit he wasn't even close to living up to the preseason Kaaya hype.

But one thing I have to give Kaaya credit for is he doesn't turn the ball over, and that alone is a major priority for a QB, even with that suspect OL.

Dude on a Pale Horse

Posted by: Go Canes! | December 31, 2016 at 11:29 AM

We should have went for 2?

BigWindyCane1

Two ACC v SEC matchups on right now. Louisville v LSU and GT v Kentucky. This might be an opportunity to show everyone that the ACC was better than the SEC this season from top to bottom.

CaneRock

Can we all just agree that things have to be more perfect for Kaaya than most other QBs?

He needs the Air Coryell WR corp...JJ's O-Lines in Dallas...Nebraska's 95' running game...nobody to say anything about em' ever...baby powder in His cleats...etc..

Go Canes!

Posted by: BEERicane | December 31, 2016 at 11:26 AM

This year Kaaya made that exact same throw to the exact same spot under the exact same or more pressure didn't he?

CaneRock

Speights showed more mobility and wherewithal to dump it to His emergency valve than Kaaya...the times He got away.

BEERicane

*he. Eff

BEERicane

GC, I never said it was all because of him. But me made the winning throw. In crunch time. In a huge game.

Go Canes!

At least I think he does. But when it counted, he delivered. We don't have that behind center here.

Posted by: BEERicane | December 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM

He really did deliver...a perfect handoff to Dalvin Cook all night, who then proceeded to savage the entire Michigan defense the entire night.

Give me a break with your big time win nonsense. Equating that win with Francios is as ridiculous as your constant bashing of Kaaya.

Herbieibis

Uh, that's Speights.

Herbieibis

Watching sleights get hammered all night was like watching a rerun of Kaaya.
Fournette, barring a big time injury will be better than Cook in the NFL, but it does matter what team u go too! The thing with Cook is if he carries the ball 20 times 16 of those carries he would have less than 50 yes, it's those 4 home run carries u have to worry about. That's where he gets most of his yds. Did the same thing to us.

BEERicane

Yup, I did get you. The appropriate thing would have been to apologize for the personal attack and admit you were wrong.

The good news is, I need a new Lurker. I used and abused him throughout 2016. I'm looking for a new azz to slay in 2017. Dr H has a strong application to be his replacement going,

CaneRock

Might sound crazy, but...I think Richt deliberately called the beginning of the RAB the way He did to make a point.

I think Kaaya had His mind made up to declare before the game, not so much after.

BEERicane

BWC, Francois has a big-time win to back up his faults. Kaaya, not so much. But truth be told, Francois does deserve criticism for his play last night. At least I think he does. But when it counted, he delivered. We don't have that behind center here.

In reality, I think Kaaya coming back next year is best for the program next year and in the short term after. But if not, oh well.

BEERicane

Dr H, great insult btw. Would have worked better if you were right. Classic working of an imbecile. Solid.

BigWindyCane1

DeAndre Francois was 9 for 27? Ouch. If Kaaya had a day like that (and he never has or never will) with all of that 5-star talent around Francois, many on this blog would be trashing him without any end in sight.

BEERicane

The go ahead td is the accurate term. Game winning would be with no time left clock expiring or an untined down to end the game.

Posted by: Dr. H. Spirit(baptized in the funk) | December 31, 2016 at 10:38 AM

I disagree. What you describe is more like a walk-off TD. Sure all walk off TDs that result in a lead change are game-winning, not all game-winning TDs are walk-off.

You must be a self proclaimed M.D. like Dr.Phil. There was 38 seconds left so the game wasn't over. The Seminoles defense held the Wolverines offense from scoring.

The go ahead td is the accurate term. Game winning would be with no time left clock expiring or an untined down to end the game.

CGNC

If BK has any doubts about leaving, he should go back and watch the first quarter and the first 9 minutes of the second quarter. He was way off target.

CaneRock

But y'know, another guy that doesn't get talked about much, but who I thought was on His way to being a great back, was Stephen McGuire. People forget how big He was when we beat FSU those 2 times in the early 90's.

CaneRock

Would have to be at a higher weight, and not for a title, if in the UFC. Cyborg is too big, 135 is too much for her to cut. She just got busted for PED's. Don't know the details, but I would bet it was for something to help her cut weight.
