Agreed.

BigWindyCane1

This staff has targeted some really good recruits, and I don't see any development projects. They probably will not get them all, but they will get enough quality players to fill needs. I also think they will get some transfers to fill some holes after NSD.

Ohio_Cane

Depending on who we close with, transfer market will absolutely be used. Similar to last year with Colbert

YES, the RE/MAX branding is there on the page and the "About" section has all relevant and required info including their business address. Popadak Properties is my business name as an S Corp, that is what I am promoting there.

This link below is to the RE/MAX branded web page provided to all agents as part of the annual fees we pay to belong to the #1 real estate company in the world BY FAR!

Oh ok I learned something.

Question, Soup. Does the broker have to run their business through a remax type firm once they meet the requirements for the broker license?

Are there any independent brokerages?

Sorry for the bad info, Thirsty.

Once your a broker, you can open up your own firm. Then you hire realtor's like soup and you can sit back and earn your 1% ( or whatever deal you have worked out) without doing anything.

The second year of Mark Richt‘s tenure in Miami will start like the first:

At home, against an in-state FCS opponent.

The Hurricanes will begin the year on Sept. 2 at Hard Rock Stadium against Bethune-Cookman, UM officials confirmed on Thursday.

Miami last played the Wildcats in 2015, a season-opener in Miami Gardens it won 45-0. Freshman Mark Walton gained 85 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and sophomore Corn Elder returned a punt 72 yards for a touchdown (and had another called back on a penalty). It was unlike the last two times they played, which is to say, Miami didn’t start slow.

The Hurricanes’ other non-league games this fall: Toledo (Sept. 23) and Notre Dame (Nov. 11). UM will travel to Arkansas State on Sept. 9.

Miami’s ACC home opponents are Georgia Tech, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Syracuse, a cross-divisional opponent from the Atlantic.

UM visits Duke, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and rival Florida State.

Ok. That was my understanding of what a broker does.

Where I am confused is about remax being a brokerage itself and its role with the licensed re broker himself.

I will look it up.

Richt and Kuligowski going in-home with D.J. Johnson tonight
Miami coaches will be in California tonight going in-home with high priority defensive line commit D.J. Johnson, who is fresh off his official visit to Coral Gables last weekend.

This is defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski's third trip to Sacramento since the season has ended, Mark Richt is joint Coach Kool this time around.

Johnson is locked in with the Hurricanes, especially after his parents got their first taste of UM last week.

Have U SEEN how DJ moves? At THAT size? Kool gonna have fun!

Who does this benefit, other than us neurotic fans who would like to have some certainty about who our team will sign before February? Just the coaches I think....

It puts the player in position to be pressured into making a quick decision. Also it steals the thunder from CFBs biggest off season event (look what the NFL has done w the draft).

It gives the coach more power. Am I missing something?

Think it just adds some semblance of sanity to a situation that is growing more and more out of control every passing year.

Look at where CMR and company are right now, on their way to California to re-recruit DJ Johnson for the 10th time just to be sure.

If a kid is rock solid commit, let him sign in December and enjoy his holidays without coaches and even worse, bag men, calling and texting him non stop to see if they can get a foot in the door.

It also stops coaches from having to constantly be babysitting and re-re-recruting kids that are already committed.

If a kid isn't sure or just feels like having his moment in the spotlight so be it, he can wait until February. But if the Canes for example have 17-18 kids sign in December it will hopefully slow down the game playing and let kids know there are only certain spots left.

Imo there's nothing wrong with asking a kid if doing the hat trick is really worth all the drama he'll face by waiting till the last minute.

Yes, this is true.

RE/MAX is just a company, a brand, a franchise like McDonalds.

Any licensed real estate BROKER can start their own real estate company, Like "Hurricane Homes" or "Canes Caves". Or Popadak Properties of Central Florida?

NCAA rejected early (June) signing period.

CoCane

Just watched Evidence Njoku's highlights for the 2nd time. Returning kicks, playing CB and WR. Good top end speed. Looks to be running in the 4.5's. Tallest and skinniest guy on the field. Any position other then WR is absurd...

Devonta Smith's highlights didn't impress me though.

Evidence, Thomas and Pouncey is all we need at WR. Imo

That's good to hear. I'm looking to get the hell outta this flood plain that is known as Houston and head back to SoFL, New England (VT, NH, Maine) or the WWAMI (not so much the A though).

Dude on a Pale Horse

BEER,

Alaska would be a very cool place to spend 5 months, lol, and most of Wyoming they can keep.

Ohio_Cane

Thomas is an absolute must at WR. Fastest player in this entire recruiting class, countrywide. Won fastest man at The Opening(?). Even if it's just him and Njoku, I'm good. Would obviously prefer to add Smith and Pouncey, tho.

I feel the need. The need, for SPEED!

Ohio_Cane

Just to add: Thomas cuts on a dime at full speed, and literally doesn't slow down. It's remarkable.
