Go Canes!

When will all this senseless killing end.

SOUP

Wow, the bar is being raised everywhere:

Miami announces that OL Sonny Odogwu has left the program. I've heard that he will pursue grad transfer options elsewhere.

I wish Sonny well. Sonny was a affable person and popular with fans at the game. He helped fill some gaps on the OL, and was a Al Golden recruit. But Sonny lost his position to injury, and now St. Louis and Donaldson will significantly upgrade the talent level on the OL. Still, Sonny helped bridge the gap last season and he should find significant playing time at another FBS program

BigWindyCane1

The Canes got some serious talent upgrades last season, but this season will be off the charts. The newcomers will make significant contributions across the board. The 2015 class contributed more than any freshmen class at the U since the 2008 class with all the freshmen who played. The difference is CMR's freshmen contributed at lot more than Shannon's did, and CMR won 9 games and a convincing bowl win, instead of 7-6 record under Shannon.

Having seen many of these players in high school, I believe CMR has recruited some extraordinary talent over the past two recruiting cycles - maybe the best in the entire country. The quantity is small, but the quality is amazing

Losing Sonny sucks.

CoCane

Losing Sonny is a big loss of depth and experience. Good luck to him though..

First off let's go Canes Beat GT tomorrow morning. Thanks for the blogs on our Canes baseball team this team has underperformed I. A major way this season hopefully they can dig deep and beat GT tomorrow and upset Wake Forrest on Thursday afternoon and put themselves in prime position to make a 45th straight NCAA tournament. Sorry to see Sonny leave. Thanks for your 4 Years of service to the U. And I am proud the Young Man has his degree. Good luck Young Man.

There IT is right there.

Dude

There are many more big time recruits that regard Miami very highly. I wouldnt be surprised to see us nab another 5 elite kids. Keeping it together of course depends on winning. Please let Perry be the real deal!

It won't. All you can do is contain it! This is exactly why Muslims need to be vetted before entering our country. I know it doesn't sound nice to do, but if you can save precious lives then I'm all for it.

Muslims shouldn't mind being vetted if they have nothing to hide, I know I wouldn't.

If an upperclassman who started and just about everyone expected to be a contributor or even a starter again transfers, it's cause he's been passed on the depth chart.

Why is that spin?

UM HIRES FORMER MIAMI NORTHWESTERN RECEIVER HARRIS AS GA

The University of Miami football program has added former Miami Northwestern and Louisville receiver Michaelee Harris as an offensive graduate assistant, a source told CanesInSight. Harris spent last season on the Illinois staff as an offensive analyst.

The former four-star prospect from the class of 2010 was recruited by Miami but chose Louisville.

That's great, but what if St.Louis gets hurt? Remember Sonny was 1 of the 2 Tackles we lost to injury last year, "you're only one play away...".

Not saying it doesnt suck that he left. it totally sucks from a depth standpoint.

Just saying the bar is higher than it's ever been if a past starter is dediding to bolt.

Couldn't have said it any better myself TBC. The only Muslims that have a problem with being vetted are ones trying to hide something which is usually something evil. majority of the dead were children and adolescents, innocent people enjoying a concert. Maybe now the famous Hollywood/liberal left will see the evil that these people are and get on the Trump train when it comes to vetting and suspending immigration from places that we can't vet, I mean, it's just meant to protect us from what just happened and keeps happening. I don't care about hurting someone's feelings if it means protecting the lives of our own. Period!

Dang Tezuka, he was king of a swarming mighty Cane defense on a National Championship Team!

He's the main reason Bama fans will always hate our guts!

Condolences to Tez's family. Great guy. Class act.

Go Canes!

The exponential growth of radicalism is the issue.

The reasons why this has occurred is up for debate.

Headed to the 12th, tied at 5. Another crazy game...back to work.

So sorry to hear about Cortez Kennedy. Sad...

JCane

Bottom 12th, U coming up, still tied at 5.

JCane

To the 13th we go. Pitcher for the U has done great in relief, but this is a long game. Gotta work.

JCane

Cabezas with just over 6 innings of pitching without giving up a hit and with 10 Ks. If only we could get some runs now. To the bottom of the 13th we go, U up.

There you go again with your black and white, all or nothing views again. Nobody said it was the MAIN problem, just ONE part of the problem that is within our control to manage and improve. Certainly there are other larger problems to be addressed but some are too big and complicated to address and some are beyond our control.

This is inaccurate and incorrect.

And also dismisses the opposing point of view before it is even stated.

It actually makes the argument you were trying to make against the opposing point of view (even though you don't even know what it is yet) against your own point of view just perfectly.

All refugees taken in by the U.S. undergo extensive background checks. The small number from Syria are subject to additional layers of security screening.

"Of all the categories of persons entering the U.S., these refugees are the single most heavily screened and vetted,” explains Jana Mason, a senior adviser to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

What if we treated Saudi Arabia for what they are, the world's state sponsor of terrorist ideaology? Maybe we shouldnt curtsy to them.

The a$$hole who blew himself up in Manchester was born in Manchester. I can't think of a whole lot you can about that.
The Tez dead at 48 is so sad. Add Roger Moore, and the last 24 hours have given us enough misery to last a month.

JCane

Oops. Read it wrong. Thx, OH. I was at working taking quick checks on the twitter feed. Either way, I'll take the win!
