Clemson got complacent. Clemson lot their edge. Clemson got lazy.
Then #2 Clemson went down to Syracuse Friday night in shocking fashion.
Trust me, that will not happen to your Miami Hurricanes when they face ACC rival Georgia Tech Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
We will be on hand to watch Miami spray some of their nasty defensive poison on the Yellow Jackets and kill them off quickly and easily in a 34-13 win.
It says right here in my official and authorized Canespace manual for 2017 that the Canes will win the ACC. The tide is clearly turning (FSU is on the outgoing tide) and the times, they are a changing (Clemson is losing badly).
Now it is up to the University of Miami football team to do their just and sworn duty and return the Cane Nation back to National prominence.

Anyone saying we don’t belong in the Top 10 should see this stat. Ohio Stare being ranked above Clemson is a total joke.
Hale: Florida State, btw, has more wins over winning P5 foes than Ohio St, Penn St, Michigan & Wisconsin combined.

Canes Football @CanesFootball
Canes 🆙 to No. 7 in @usatodaysports Coaches Poll.
Its the 2nd straight season Miami has been ranked in the top 10 under @MarkRicht.

Coaches poll has consistently ranked us a little higher than the AP this season. Syracuse beat Clemson last week, so a big win over the orange will go a long way to show how far the Canes have come. As we learned this weekend, even the best teams can struggle against unranked opponents when they are not prepared.
Bottom line is that the Canes can settle all of this on the field. The Canes control their own destiny. And teams that start the season hot don't always finish that way. The Canes have so many areas to work on and improve, yet they remain undefeated. Once things start to come together, this team can really get on a roll. I am looking for the Canes to continue to improve so that by the end of the season, the Canes will be one of the hottest teams in college football

Walton has a style that translates well to a good nfl career.
I love the way Homer puts his head down, but his lack of elusiveness cpuld wear him down. He is only a true soph.

Homer reminds me of Portis.

Homer seems faster and stronger. Portis had better moves.
They both l8ke lowering the pads when trapped.

Agree 100% Windy. Polls never mean anything to me, except that people who coach and report have taken notice that we are playing well. We may be 8 6 or 3...dont know dont care. We have had injuries, others have too. Its that old UM adage from the glory days next man step up. Now we are not as deep as those teams, but people are stepping up. TH is the real deal; the guys on the line did not do a bad job and though the D was shaky at times, they made some plays.
I am proud of the kids they hung in there....and no quit!! Clappy, Onion, and AlPa teams were known to quit.'
My biggest peeve is getting 3 instead of TDs....when you get close you need TDs. I will take the last one as it was the winner! Great teams finish with TDs. We have work to do, and like Saban says do not listen to the rat poison.....work to get better and improve. Really fun up and down thriller for us all.
One thing; sit Cager down. I do not know if he is scared, stupid, lazy, or lost. He adds nothing to our attack; he acts as if he does not care. I have never had a player like that, never will!! No block, no catch, will not go get the ball....and God forbid hit or take a hit. He is like his recruiter....AlPa....does not know how to and does not want to win. Cut him now!!!

Strength of schedule has hardly ever mattered. I remember 1 time, USF was ranked 2nd in the country, lol. Playing cupcakes will get you in the top 10 and keep you there.

There are no cupcakes in the ACC
