Guess who's being investigated for grabbing a female by the _ _ _ _ y: Jameis, former QB of Female SexAbuse University

Winston is being investigated by the NFL for allegations by a female Uber driver in Scottsdale, Arizona that he groped her when they stopped at the drive-thru of a Mexican restaurant in March of 2016.

The Uber driver alleged in an interview with BuzzFeed News that Winston "reached over and he just grabbed my crotch" and kept his hand there for "three to five seconds." According to the report, he removed his hand only when she looked up in shock and said β€˜What’s up with that?"

Apparently, she called an audible and Jameis had to change the play from a QB sneak to a hand-off.
Got to hand it to ... wait, no, err ... make that give him props. Jameis' behavior has improved. This time he's not accused of rape.

This is a delicate question that I must ask. I stop by a little donut shop After my chiropractor appointment. This old guy trash stalks the U constantly. He finally said today, "I bet Miami doesn't have any white players." I
I was so ticked off and I said of course we do, and what difference does it make. I called him a bigot.
Anyway, I know we have many white players please, and give me some names and positions. I can't wait to stick it to him. Just another example of ignorant people who HATE the U.

Very good post! Dejavu! History loves to repeat itself!

Go Canes!!

In 1987 I got so drunk at Fire and Ice I’ve never had tequila again.

🐜 πŸŒ€πŸ”™πŸ”›πŸ”πŸ”œ

I was 8 and my daughter is 8. Getting up mad early in the 352 to make Cane walk with her. She cried her eyes out when she found out that Charlotte is an adult trip only so daddy is making it up by taking her to senior day.

🐜 πŸŒ€πŸ”™πŸ”›πŸ”πŸ”œ

Something to ponder:

1987 was the last year that the Miami Hurricanes defeated the Florida State Seminoles, Virginia Tech Hokies, and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame all in the same season. But let's take a slightly deeper look.

In 1987 the Miami Hurricanes were subjected to a 21 day delay between their first and second game due to a real hurricane. In 2017, Miami was also delayed 21 days between their first and second game, again due to a hurricane.

In 1987, Miami faced a hostile crowd on the road in Doak Campbell Stadium against their arch rival FSU. Miami eeked out a nail biter in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter. In 2017, Miami, again traveled to Doak Campbell as a road underdog and pulled out a last second miracle win against FSU.

In 1987, Miami survived a surprisingly scrappy Toledo team (with a D-Line anchored by Craig Kooligowski) who played the Hurricanes close for three quarters. In 2017, Toledo led the Hurricanes for part of the third quarter and it was only due to a 28 point explosion in the 4th that Miami finally put the Rockets away.

In 1987, Miami hosted the Virginia Tech Hokies for their Homecoming game. It was a battle, but in the end, the Hurricanes came away with the 27-13 victory. In 2017, we beat the Hokies 28-10. Oh yeah, and it was Homecoming.

In 1987, Miami hosted the highly touted Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Miami in prime time and absolutely obliterated them. 2017? Miami destroyed #3 Notre Dame 41-8 in ABC's Game of the Week.

In 1987 Miami defeated the Oklahoma Sooners to win the National Championship. 2017? TBD...

Some additional notes: Miami has 5 National Championships. All were won in odd numbered years; 1983, 1987, 1989, 1991, 2001. All were also won with a Republican in the White House; Reagan(x2), GHW Bush(x2), GW Bush (x1).

" EARLY RISERS: This is only the second noon kickoff for either team this season. Since 2013, in noon-kick games, Miami is 9-1 and Virginia is 1-6. Miami has another noon kick awaiting at Pittsburgh next Friday in its regular-season finale.

THE U AT 2: As the No. 2 team in the AP poll, Miami is 35-4 all-time, 21-0 against unranked opponents and 19-0 in home regular-season games. " Foxsport Florida

One chain to rule them all?

Go Canes!!

SOTU: After his performance against Notre Dame, there is no doubt Canes fans are now familiar with DeeJay Dallas. In what was his most productive game so far, the true freshman scored two touchdowns and rushed for 53 yards on 12 attempts. Since being moved from receiver to running back in early October, it has taken Dallas some weeks to adjust to his new role, but the position switch is starting to show results. After only his third game in which he was given any touches, DeeJay is showing promising signs of what’s to come throughout his Canes career.

I trust Coach Richt and his staff, but I never understood why they decided to place DeeJay at receiver when he enrolled this past Spring. He is 6 feet tall, hovers just over 200 pounds, and is a proven ball carrier as he ran frequently from his primary quarterback position in high school. He is built like and moves more like a natural running back than receiver. Apart from that, why place DeeJay in a crowded receiver group when running back depth was shaky to begin with? His playmaking potential is such that Dallas needs the best opportunities to touch the ball and that probably wasn’t going to come as a wide receiver. It was horrible losing Mark Walton for the season to injury, but if I’m being glass-half-full here, it forced Richt’s hand in moving DeeJay to his more natural running back position.

Do I think DeeJay Dallas will ever be the Hurricanes starting running back? No, I don’t, but Miami shouldn’t want him to be. Travis Homer is a heck of a ball player, and next year the roster will add Lorenzo Lingard and Camron Davis with Robert Burns returning from injury. The starting job should be well manned for years to come with those guys. What Miami needs Dallas to be is a mismatch threat all over the field. Keep running him out of the β€˜Wildcane’ formations. Put him in the backfield as a pass catching threat. Motion him out to the slot. Use him as a passing threat. And of course, also feed him the football on handoffs from time to time. The point is, DeeJay Dallas can and must be so much more than simply RB1.

When Richt has called the play wrinkles with DeeJay in succession, it feels like the offense is in attack mode, a parallel to the way Manny Diaz calls Miami’s defense. As the offense opened up more against Virginia Tech and Notre Dame, it’s contributed to Miami’s two best all-around wins this season. When the safety brake is taken off, Miami’s talent shines, and the same holds true for DeeJay. As he learns his position better, I expect his safety brake to be increasingly depressed. His first career touchdown, a leaping, acrobatic effort, was a thing of beauty. And that was only his beginning. I’m sure that if DeeJay continues to develop this season and throughout his Canes career, he could become one of the most dynamic athletes Miami has seen in years.

BigWindyCane1

For those of you who have seen Richards run when he is healthy, you realize that he has a special gear that few receivers have. A healthy Richards could be the fastest receiver in the ACC, if not in college football. He can take a simple WR screen and go untouched to the end zone. I agree with TrueCane and UMike (and the Canes opposing coaches) that Richards warrants double coverage.

I don't know if Richards is still struggling with that hamstring. If he is at least 90%, I have a feeling that the Canes coaches will figure out how to get Richards going in these last two games . The Canes can definitely use a healthy Richards against Clemson and the CF Playoff.

TruCane81

Lost juniors wont matter.

Let The Herb talk about Richards for a moment. The dude has had a hammy issue since August and trying to play through it has to be tough. In watching him at UNC, he doesn't have that burst and he seems to be rounding his routes out, instead of sharp cuts. Yes Rosier is not the most accurate passer but with Richards not being 100% doesn't help. Cager seems to have gotten over the fear that held him back earlier. We have plenty of weapons on offense to get the job done. It seems for the last several years every time we get a top notch WR we get 2 good years out of them. Coley and Dorsett were the same way. Got hurt and gave us maybe 2 good years.
If everyone comes back we will be ranked in the top 3. We only lose Chad Thomas, Moten and Delaney off the defense and on offense only Mcdormet, Darling and Herndon, that I can recall. If Norton, McIntosh, Jackson and Johnson come back somebody will be wearing some severe ass whoopings.
As far as the Wahoos are concerned, we may be a little sluggish to begin with but 34-13 sounds good enough. It's hard to play at an elite level every week but hopefully we have all the sluggish games out of the way.

Tonycane

Dude on a Pale Horse

I'm curious what the NFL thinks about drafting Walton. I'd imagine most teams want to see another year out of him. Imagine for just a second a RB stable of Walton, Homer, Dallas, Lingard, Davis. Thats pretty outstanding. I'd stack that up with anyone.

Go Canes!!

Assuming no upsets last 2 weeks, this will clearly be the best ACCCG in the game's history. Only once before did it even feature 2 top-10 and ('15 Clem-UNC) let alone 2 in top 3.

Agree UMike.

Dude on a Pale Horse

Walton's injury is this season's biggest let down because I think we missed a Heisman Trophy season. He would have been spectacular.

Dude on a Pale Horse

Posted by: TruCane81 | November 17, 2017 at 10:59 AM

Based on his earlier stats, he'd have 1,231 yards and at least 9 TDs right now. He'd be the clear front runner for the Heisman Trophy.

UMike

Between Richards being injured and the amount of bad throws Rosier has gave him I can see why he is struggling. That is not a knock on Rosier who has made some great throws but been a lil off Target with AR82. Might have to do with his time away and being out of sync. Also teams started to anticipate those quick slants.

Gin & Tonic

I still remember 11.10.07. Last game in the OB, 48-0.

10 years may have gone by, but I will never stop wanting the Canes to beat the piss out of Virginia every time we face them.

Richards flopping this year has hurt this O as much as anything, but he still draws 2 defenders. Hoping they take more advantage of that

1mg of Epi

Ahmmon Richards – 0/4

Richards hasn’t dropped a pass the last two weeks but only 3 of his 10 targets have ended in a completion. For the season only 17 of his 48 targets have been completed. Cager did well filling in for Richards against Notre Dame, catching both targets β€” including his best catch of the season, a 28-yarder on fourth-and-9. All four of Herndon’s targets were caught. He has caught 70 percent of his targets on the season and leads the team in YAC with 327 yards.

1mg of Epi

Top 3, without a doubt. Canes have a lot of talent returning, and these coaches really develop players. If the Canes retain these coaches and they players keep developing, CMR might have a run like the Canes did under Johnson and Ericson.

Posted by: BigWindyCane1 | November 17, 2017 at 09:03 AM

What sucks tho is how much pre season rankings mean at the end of the season, and how a loss late in the season is weighed more heavily than an earlier one.

BigWindyCane1

Diaz has been named a Broyles Award candidate, but I definitely think that CMR is a Coach of the Year candidate when the Canes finish their regular season 11-0. If the Canes make the CF playoff, CMR WILL be COY.

CGNC

From USA Today:

Miami quarterback Malik Rosier wasn't just thinking about football when his team played Notre Dame last week.

Rosier's father Eli, who lives in Tallahassee, suffered a stroke the Monday before the Hurricanes beat the Fighting Irish.

Hell what I witnessed at UNC, I never want to see again. We looked like a dam high school team against those losers and they had to play like that when finally get to see them play.

Tonycane

I can picture Finebaum saying that

Tonycane

Yeah, I can actually picture saying that a 3 or 4 loss SEC team should get into the playoffs over an undefeated Miami should we have a close game against Virginia or the Panthers

Yep.

Herbieibis

Got to keep the mo up and keep playing the way we have the last 2 weeks. No snoozing. U know any little slip up against the Wahoos and Panthers they will look to drop us to where Whisky is. We need to beat the brakes off both these 2 stiffs and then take care of those Tiger kitties, who we also owe an ass whooping too! Don't need to be going back to them slide by W'S.

Go Canes!

Al Golden had a starting QB miss one game under his tenure. Different case than Sumlin.

After 5 straight very good to great recruiting classes his team is 3-7 in it's last 10 conference games going back to last season. This at a time where outside of Bama and Georgia the whole SEC reeks.

That's not a QB problem, that's a your team sucks and a you're gonna get fired problem.

Herbieibis

That should say a shyt eating grin.

Richt looks like he just smoked a bowl doing these interviews. It's like he has a shut eating grin and about ready to bust out laughing.

When I mention Houston I am thinking about the amount of athletes that city produces but you are right. The politics with UT are terrible and kept then out of the conference just a couple of years ago

Just wait and see what happens if my suggestion that the offense snorts blow after TDs gets approved.

Go Canes!

It's seems like it took the most Miami thing ever to finally exorcize all our accumulated bad mojo.
