Bodes well moving forward.

The score will look good.

Check off the payback list. Clemson next, but we really want to thank Clemson for getting Golden fired.

Hey Tsully,

10 win season? ✔
Win the Coastal? ✔
Beat FSU? ✔

We need new goals brother!

HillViewCane

The VA offensive play calling helped us out in the end. Great to get the win though.

AfriCane

Y was Richt running the ball inside when Virginia defense is slow in running to the edge. They could have run homer outside all game and gotten better production instead of just the 4th quarter.

TruCane81

We will struggle on d if we dont let the front 4 eat.

Jam them guys up mixing cover 1 and cover 2 and live with the occassional big play.

More often than not, you will just have qbs running for their life, throwing bad passes in to coverage.

We developed the perfect scheme for mobile qbs.

If we trust the dl for what they are and take away the dink and dunk game that works so well against us (but we refuse to stick with ourselves), noone will score more than 14 on us and we will run away with the national title.

Thank you to all the Canes fam that showed our boys love! They deserved it and you deserved the win! Very proud of Canes Nation.

D stepped up big time. Can’t overlook Pitt. They would love nothing more than to play spoiler. We win that game, regardless of what happens in ACCCG, we make the OB. Everyone would have taken that at the start of the season.

We are now the only thing left form them to play for. Losing to Virginia Tech was nice for us...that means a post season bid will no longer be on the line for the Panthers.

Richt adjusts well but slow and he abandons what is successful too often.

Its frustrating because we see how good he is and he has a hard time wrapping it all up for more consistent dominant performances.

But I can ride with it because we get better over time, whether game to game or quarter to quarter.

You really cant ask for much more, even if you do pick apart every play and decision from the comfort of your armchair lol.

I believe Miami has only 4 undefeated seasons since 1926. This is special. Miami hasn't won 10 games in over a decade. I hate how they started, but the team is made to fight until the end!

GO Canes!!!

For real Beer.

We are ahead of schedule and the talk of cfb.

This has been a successful season regardless what happens moving forward.

Great effort from staff and players alike.

10-0?

Really?

I mean I knew it was possible, but to actually be in this position?

Its been a long hard road but times like these are what makes the tough years worth sticking out.

CaneRock

I think that shoulder injury from the UNC game is bothering Rosier. That long completion where Thomas had to come back for the ball should've been a TD.

In any event, this team has character, everything doesn't have to be perfect for em' to succeed...L[]_ _[]V IT!

My LOF Jaquan JOHNSON has to be all an ACC safety, and might also be All American. Should be a Thorpe Award finalist. JJ turned this game around with his INT. Probably led the Canes in tackles and had a sack. I saw Jaquan play in high school, and thought he was one of the best defensive players I had seen. His defense at killian was great, and he was the leader that made them. Jaquan waited patiently the last two years playing behind upper class men. Now, it's his turn. Glad Jaquan is finally getting his due. Jaquan is the real deal.

thirstybuzzardcane

The team looked a lot faster in the second half

BEERicane

Holding was egregious that game, but they didn’t call a single hold all game either way. Was pretty strange. They let the players play.

There is a reason why CMR is the head coach of the University of Miami and some of you clowns type behind a keyboard......just saying :-)

BigWindyCane1

I also noticed recently where the Canes were able to successfully execute consecutive running plays at the end to close out games.

Guess who's being investigated for grabbing a female by the _ _ _ _ y: Jameis, former QB of Female SexAbuse University

Winston is being investigated by the NFL for allegations by a female Uber driver in Scottsdale, Arizona that he groped her when they stopped at the drive-thru of a Mexican restaurant in March of 2016.

The Uber driver alleged in an interview with BuzzFeed News that Winston "reached over and he just grabbed my crotch" and kept his hand there for "three to five seconds." According to the report, he removed his hand only when she looked up in shock and said ‘What’s up with that?"

Apparently, she called an audible and Jameis had to change the play from a QB sneak to a hand-off.
Got to hand it to ... wait, no, err ... make that give him props. Jameis' behavior has improved. This time he's not accused of rape

AfriCane

What’s lost in all this is that Virginia came to play. The plays they called on offense were awesome, it kept our defense on their toes all game long. They countered our speed all game long. And that QB! Holy titty focking Christ! He’s from the state of Fl. How did we miss on him. Who said the pure pocket passer was done. I’ll take him over those 2 California effers.
And their defense was preety stout.
Virginia teams r the opposite of Florida teams. They don’t have speed. But they have big hogs. Just tell u speed wins u champioships.
To recap; the canes are for real. A championship season comes with all types of game. And if u want the hardware, u got to adjust to win them all.

Go Canes!!

Who’s second in team MVP voting behind Jaquan?

CGNC

Great win today! Crowd showed up and it was a great atmosphere. VA's QB was very accurate, made his throws-I think at one point he was 18 of 19. Can't say the same for us sadly but we found a way to win anyway. We also didn't pressure him much first half. I noticed that when #12 would throw the shorter passes they had a downward trajectory. Noon games have never been our friend lol.

15 game winning streak.

10 and OH!

So a parallel to this season?

SJMPARMAN

Any of u guys around and watching the 83 season? How does that season thru 10 games compare to this one? Was it as unexpected to find us in the NC hunt as it is now?

1983 was a season of close games. Really close. But the defense was stout if not dominating at times. But the offense was conservative to an extent. We had a really good running game with Albert Bentley and a bruiser in Speedy Neal.
Kosar was a freshman and played like it at times. The similarity is that both teams had an incredible will to win.

What Rosier has done this year is not to be under appreciated. His running and throwing have been special. The defense this year is really unbelievable. 19 takeaways in 5 games has to be a Hurricanes record. This season has been as much fun as I can remember since the early 1990's. Any year we embarrass the Irish will always be special but these guys are fun to watch on both sides of the ball.

I don't know but it wouldn't surprise me. In 1983, the elephant in the room was Nebraska. They were thought to be the team of the century. But Schnellenberger was a really confident coach and they slayed them. This year, while not the team of the century, the Alabama program has that reputation and an elephant as a mascot. I think this team could beat them but the defense has to play like the previous two weeks and not like today.

McIntosh & Jaquan Co-MVP.

Rosier would also get votes, if he wasnt both one of the key reasons we play well and struggle.

Dude on a Pale Horse

Defensive coordinator Manny Diaz made a specific playcall with Johnson in mind.

"The quarterback was doing a great job moving out of the pocket, and keeping his eyes down the field and delivering a perfect ball on the run," Johnson said. "The defense that was called, we were able to corral him and keep him in the pocket and disguise to make it seem like something was open, and that's what we did. Once he threw it, I was able to break underneath the route."

Dude on a Pale Horse

Here's a new goal for 2018,

Do not lose any game at home.

We just went undefeated, 7-0 at home for the first time in a while. The crowds are showing up again and Miami needs to make a contract with them, that beating us at home will be damn near impossible. 0

Bama's offense plays to our strengths. We would crush them.

My worry is our offense against their d.

That would be a big game and Richt brings it for us in those games.

Richt calls it well and we beat Bama like vt.

Maybe they score 17 instead of 10 but thats it.

I was at a funeral and missed it all, but I put my phone on silent and tried to peak every 10 minutes. I was scared to death. My boyfriend Richard told ;me before the game, beware of a subconscious let-down. He also said that the fans were louder than the ND game, if that is possible. In my gut, I knew that they would die trying to win. And, God bless our boys.
IT IS GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE!!!
AGAIN AND ALWAYS
