I agree to disagree... a lot of other staffs are getting more out of their players than we are

There have been maybe 3 games I've been really disappointed in.
Year 1: UNC & ND
Year 2: Pitt
Everything else, I could kind of see happening. So far we are 21-8 under CMR, 22-8 after today, I expect to be no less than 29-9 at the end of the season and back in the ACC CG. I will say this, Richt cant have a let-down season this year, the fans will turn in a big way. 9-4 can not happen ever again, unless its off a 6th ring season replacing a bunch of SRs. His staff choices could very well be his undoing, but I see that weve come a long way, and I'm comfortable letting this play out right now. I dont think we are there in terms of talent yet, except for WR & RB. Should we lose another game we shouldnt though, maybe I'll turn on him. Right now I'd say we are the best team in the ACC Coastal, with the ability to beat teams that are ranked as high as 6. I think it will take a few years to sort out depth, coaches, talent and so on. If Richt gets another top 10 class we are moving in the right direction. Lot of positive momentum imo.

💯
I ask again. Look back at the 5 year recruiting rankings, who is this coach everyone keeps referencing who’s constantly doing more with less.

Purdue (0-3) is exposing BC right now, 30-7
Posted by: BigWindyCane | September 22, 2018 at 02:33 PM
IMO - as long as richt is OC and rosier is qb, we will lose at least once more - with a better OC and a different qb, we can go further and as fans, enjoy the Games more.
Richt in his entire career has proved nothing more. I hope I’m wrong but with the pitt loss and LSU loss, I see no changes. Enjoy your football - and guys like big windy and go canes can dream that miraculously richt will change, but I don’t see it.
Go Canes!

Big windy- I’m not watching - how are they doing it and will our coaching staff ‘exploit’ them as well?
Thx
Posted by: AeroCane | September 22, 2018 at 02:39 PM
Dude - just curious- why are we the best team in the coastal? We got crushed by LSU and beat 2 underwhelming opponents - and richt didn’t even get the key freshmen in (during key times) in the Toledo game. How are we better than VT? Again, just curious as to the thought process
Posted by: AeroCane | September 22, 2018 at 02:43 PM
Winbush has 55% completion percentage for the #7 ND (Rosier has a 52% completion percentage). Coach Kelly of ND started Book at QB today against Wake and benched Winbush.

And it appears he’s lighting it up. IMO rosier has so little upside - I’d enjoy watching Perry, Weldon or Williams with lingard and be willing to take the learning curve (not to say Travis and deejay don’t get snaps - but lingard is a special talent and needs to play more) - I don’t even think rosier starts for Toledo last week

WHY!!!! What an awful play call by Richt!!!
Posted by: Tim | September 22, 2018 at 03:41 PM
That was a long 1
Posted by: BEERicane | September 22, 2018 at 03:41 PM
Richt and rosier are idiots
Even the announcers said ‘why do a qb sneak when the line is loaded’
Posted by: AeroCane | September 22, 2018 at 03:41 PM
Another stellar call by the NCAA refs.
Posted by: IraqiCane | September 22, 2018 at 03:45 PM
Was a hold. Good call. Unfortunately was a bonehead hold
Posted by: BEERicane | September 22, 2018 at 03:47 PM
JT had a great return, but the first penalty in 7 quarters wiped it out
Posted by: BigWindyCane | September 22, 2018 at 03:47 PM
This play calling is beyond bad!
Posted by: Tim | September 22, 2018 at 03:49 PM
Yup. Play calling is atrocious
Posted by: BEERicane | September 22, 2018 at 03:49 PM
We will never win big with Richt calling the plays. It's painful and frustrating to watch.
Posted by: Tim | September 22, 2018 at 03:50 PM
If we had an OC we would be up by 7.
Posted by: Harry Miller | September 22, 2018 at 03:52 PM
Perry warming up!
Posted by: BigWindyCane | September 22, 2018 at 03:52 PM
Any chance we can trade head coaches with FIU.
Posted by: Tim | September 22, 2018 at 03:52 PM
Another penalty!

Awesomeness!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Posted by: IraqiCane | September 22, 2018 at 03:53 PM
Play calling is Pop Warner level.
Ashamed to be a fan.
Posted by: 86Cane | September 22, 2018 at 03:54 PM
I don't care if we win 100-7 we always suck at the beginning of the game. Why oh why is that? I could answer but I will leave it up to you to decide!
Posted by: 86Cane | September 22, 2018 at 03:56 PM
Will he have the balls to switch this deep in our
territory. Probably npt.
Posted by: Harry Miller | September 22, 2018 at 03:57 PM
I meant not.
Posted by: Harry Miller | September 22, 2018 at 03:58 PM
Is #4 on offense hurt?
Posted by: 86Cane | September 22, 2018 at 03:59 PM
Yes!
Posted by: IraqiCane | September 22, 2018 at 04:00 PM
I said it - Perry or Weldon or Williams with lingard - and we have an entirely different dynamic
Rosier couldn’t convert a 4and 1 - I don’t care the play call - the qb needs to make it happen - he sucks
Posted by: AeroCane | September 22, 2018 at 04:00 PM
Totally different offense with Perry in.
Posted by: IraqiCane | September 22, 2018 at 04:03 PM
Could this be the beginning of the Perry era?
Posted by: BigWindyCane | September 22, 2018 at 04:06 PM

Posted by: IraqiCane | September 22, 2018 at 04:06 PM

Posted by: mi@mic@ne | September 22, 2018 at 04:07 PM
Let’s hope Perry stays in though.
Posted by: IraqiCane | September 22, 2018 at 04:11 PM
