Canespace Prediction: Miami 34 - BC 13

Go,
We have to stop letting coaches have enough rope to hang themselves. James has to do something, he cant sit by and watch, he has to save the program. Miami can not keep letting coaches do this, and pay their massive buyouts. At this point a 2 million dollar OC is cheaper.
Oh wait, we play at home next week, the offense will fo show show up, it's just that we are laughable losers on the road. Richt might smoke 2 bowls before this post game presser.
I would not trade the great memories of the old days for a 10 and 2 season every year....its worth the trouble now since I have no control over the dumb decisions that have been made.
I said it after Virginia and I’ll ssy it again: watch for decommitments, on the edge guys going elsewhere and I believe you’ll see transfers; wouldn’t be surprised to see Perry, lingard and possibly a WR
We saw what happened over the last week or so- we got decommittments and lost on a key DT; you’ll see more; no way we get Neal and he would of been a huge get at a key position;
Cut our losses and fire the Georgia reject now!
So let’s summarize: richt pulls the freshman last game, puts in the senior, says we had a great flow of offensive practices last week and we score a whole 14 points! That’s a fireable offense right there as we had both Perry and Williams waiting and at least they be more interesting to watch then the clueless qb we have now!

We hired Patke instead of Shane Beamer. Jon instead of Helfrich. I said when these things happened that those would be the choices that did Richt in. Lazy, uninspired, scared, hires. Miami AD must get involved. We need a football director.
Teams with way less talent can still score even if their QBs throw a couple of picks.
Every team that played against BC scored more points than we did. Every team except Holy Cross, which scored the same amount we did. He have the offense of Holy Cross.
Richt is giving us the D'No offense. Same scenario different side. The D is being let down by the O. The O keeps putting them in terrible situations. We have more enough talent on O. We have players that will get drafted and excel in the NFL. These other teams that BC played don't have more talent than us. They just don't.
The team might as well throw all caution to the wind and just have fun. Make the most out of bad situation because this is a bad situation. The team is falling apart
Meanwhile FL and TX are soaring...while we sputter and grind to a halt.
Dammit I want to win and be relevant.....sure do not feel like that right now!
Deja Vu CSNY....1970 incredible LP
"and it feels like Ive been here before"
"We have all been here before"
We have been with Clap Onion AlPa....CMR 4th Horseman of the UM Apocalypse we are experiencing self destruction....not good folks!!!
Well, I can't even sign into Typepad anymore... Guess it's a sign to give up on this Georgia reject.
Watching the BC offense with pre-snap movement, and innovative plays getting their playmakers involved was tough. Watching our SAME EXACT one or two formation offense run the SAME EXACT plays that we've run all year in the SAME EXACT situations was WAY tougher.
The 2nd wildcat call at the goal line after the timeout was priceless.
I can hear the GA Reject talking to Jon on the headset, "Hey, THIS play BARELY worked in the same situation 15 minutes ago... They'll NEVER SUSPECT we'd try it again in the EXACT same situation and make any defensive adjustments!" "Great call Dad, DON'T CHANGE A THING!"
I'm SO done with this situation. He may or may not have lost the team at this point, but he's lost a fan and an alumnus.

IDK Sota but I had a horrible dream last night that Rosier started and couldnt hit his targets and when he did the recievers dropped the ball and he threw interceptions and Homer repeatedly tried to run up the middle and KYCane bought an airplane and a banner........
Dude
At this time nothing will help the university of Miami football program other than richt being fired or quitting! The guy is literally a fucking loser! Just listen to his press conferences, the way he handles things, etc
Cut our losses and move on!
The smiter got smited.
Next year's pre-season starts now. Every position on offense and special teams is open. Everyone plays alternating series even Williams. Winners start next year.

Had an alcohol/ambien fueled dream that took me back to the end of the UNC game where I thought we'd finally solved our QB issues. Then I woke up and remembered we're far worse off than when we started this year.
Went to games through the Butch dark years, the Coker slow crumble, the Shannon Northwestern fiasco and the Golden implosion.
Rooted hard, looked at the brightside and always tried, to a fault, to be positive every single time I could, and was all in with who we rode with.
But i'm done with CMR and going to HR if Rosier starts another game. If Perry is a head case then start Willaims, see what he can do, and start playing for next season.
Yes his play calling is antiquated and unimaginative. That is something he will have to deal with or get himself fired after this year. But even with that, when Rosier made the necessary throws, to the point Blackledge actually called him "hot", we moved the ball and scored TDs.
As soon as Rosier went full Rosier, the offense blew up, the already bad play calling looked even worse, and the whole thing went down the toilet..
I can't watch another one of those games. Give me hope next week, if it's not Perry cause he's an immature bonehead, then give me Jarren. You have nothing to lose. If he struggles, so what. The QB situation is already a complete cluster fvck, so who'll even notice and he can still save his redshirt.
Just not one more second of what we've seen for the last season and a half under center.
I totally hear you Go. I have always tried to look at the positives and to consider the extenuating circumstances. Perhaps it is because Golden was so stubborn for so long that I have no patience right now. To me, excluding the NCAA fiasco this is about as bearish as I have ever been on the Canes,
Normally, if something does not work you fix it. Miami in three years has evolved into a great defensive team under Richt, but in the same time period they have devolved into what is now the worst offensive team since the 1970s. Richt has talent that Larry Coker or Randy Shannon would have dreamed for in 2006-2007 - the only other time Miami has this inept of an offense. We are doing less with more. Yet because of the circumstances of his release at Georgia, it’s easy to see with Richt keeping control of the offense to the bitter end.

Miami is now 2-6 in its last 8 games vs Power 5 opponents. 5 of 6 losses have come by double-digits. Scored 17 points or less in 5 of 8 games.

I think that Mark Richt has lost this team, and did so when he pulled Perry out.

I been watching Hurricane games for 26 years.
Even in the down years, special teams won games for us.
Now they are losing us games.
Their punter and our blunders gave us no shot.
How can we fall so far here.
Can’t blame golden for this mess. His special teams were light years ahead of this nonsense.
Blocking a kick is a distant memory. Can’t cover. Mental mistakes. It’s like we don’t do that at all.
Everything you need to know about what is wrong with us is exposed by the utter futility of these units.
