Game Day Blog: Miami vs Pitt

I am going to keep this short and simple.

For my Christmas wishes to come true our University of Miami Hurricanes need a win today over the Pittsburgh Panthers.

I will be attending the last game of the season to see if Santa Claus (aka Mark Richt) will grant me the second of my three wishes for Christmas.

I will be wearing brand new kicks to ensure that the Canes will win by the score of, you guessed it, 34-13.

Watching those offenses is going to be depressing.

...cold raining here in VA.....we do not play today ...but it would be a great day to play if you want your team to be tough and tested....we are as have played a lot in the elements
not sure who will show up today for us...team is in turmoil but coming off a win...JT4 situation is bad....Really want a nice win to finish the regular season and perhaps salvage something...we will get a minor bowl all we really deserve.
Year started out so positive re outlook, but right off we were not ready vs LSU....I do not consider Savannah, Toledo or FIU real wins....thats like UM beating a HS team or my guys....

I hope we win and i hope beyond hope we make a change at the top...BOT AD CMR and all staff but Manny.....Fire all their Azzes....start the engines fly the banners reading FIRE BOT AD ALL COACHES BUT MD!!!

This is the crazy thing, we go 10-3 last year and everyone was loving it...maybe not Rosier, but was loving the wins. Now it's fire this guy and that guy. My question is did you say fire anyone when we were 10-3? Same staff except DL coach.

OSU has had issues all year...but they look really good today...despise Flat Head Greasy Urban....but he wins wherever he is.....no doubt.

I feel sorry for the Pirate...the snow storm game is not a good recruiting tool..lol and the talent out in that part of the country is not as good as south florida...Butch freshman who turned out to be number 1 draft pics beat a number 2 UCLA in the OB.

Hilariously, adjusted for inflation, Butch for today's 4 million or so would have cost just under 2.9 in 2002, which if you go back to Willie's, "Curse of Butch Davis," source article isn't too far off what they tried to do the guy dirty for before he took the NFL job.

Wait, that's not hilarious, just like it's not funny this could have been Butch's fourth year finale in his second go if Fake Lames only had a pair and had gotten rid of fatso for having a losing season instead of what it actually is.

Harbaugh is a decent coach...but his teams are sloppy and ill prepared.
He calls a TO...4th and 2...then a guy jumps offside and has to punt.
Guy catches a KO inside the 10 goes out of bounds...stupid.
He is like CMR run run run when it is not there...so when they pass OSU gets great pressure...
He is good...but only good...MI is not the 4th best team in the country....and he is out of step...over rated!!!! Hes kind of a nerd....and not as prepared as he has had a lot of luck in college and pro!

It only takes half a game to watch the offense and figure out what kind of scheme best fits the players..if you go back to the first time Perry plays i was saying we needed to spread out talent out and run uptempo rpo type of plays..its taken Richt 4 losses and throwing the team in chaos to finally run that scheme...but the stupid decision was hiring a guy who was not able to beat top ten teams and then give him an extension...thats not only a recipe for losing but its bad business.

Pretty good point....he comes in shows a little flash and you sign him for eternity just because he once rode the pines and played for HS....we are headed in the wrong direction....program is in chaos I expect more people to leave and more recruits to look elsewhere where people compete win thats what kids want and thats what true fans want.
I hate losing in anything...I want to be the best parent, grandparent, friend, neighbor, coach teacher, mentor....yet it will not always happen....but to accept 50% or so is nuts...
OSU is 10-1 and they are freaking up there....then today they lay waste to MI....Urban may be a jerk as a person, but damn he can coach...and win!

I dont know JH is even right for MI...he cannot beat ND and he cannot beat OSU....you got to beat them.
His QBs are not real good...now this kid has 3 TDs today....but he throws low overthrows and is awkward...like UM QBs.
JH is playing 50s and 60s football trying to beat you by running dives...not against todays athlete....they got QB beaten down and he has no answers how to win...who does that sound like...
