The ‘Canes have been selected to play in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl vs Wisconsin. The game will take place at Yankee Stadium in New York.

 

 

All Hurricane Club Members’ ticket requests will be given priority over the general public. Tickets will be assigned based upon your Hurricane Club Allocation Tier. The deadline to request is Wednesday, December 5 at 5 p.m.

 

Hurricane Club Allocation Tiers for Post-Season Play:The Hurricane Club Allocation Tiers allow for an organized ranking of members for events, away football play and post-season play. Your Tier is based on annual level of support to the Hurricane Club. Your ranking within the Tier is based on lifetime and consecutive years of giving or if you blog on Canespace.

 

Exceptions may be made if you wear a Sean Taylor #26 t-shirt as seen below.

 

 

If you would like to increase your Tier by making a Student Impact Donation, please call the Hurricane Club at 305-284-6699 starting Monday at 8:30 a.m. The deadline to make a gift to increase your Tier is Wednesday, December 5.

OL was really good, LT Winston, LG Carey, C Rodriguez, RG Meyers, RT Joseph... TE Winslow, RB Gore, WRs were solid. Only weakness was Berlin's streaky play... a better OC perhaps would have had him playing better, but Chud took all year to move him primarily into the shotgun. The defense that year was insane talented. Wilfork, Vilma, D.J. Williams, Rolle and of course the Meast himself, Sean Mutha F*ckin Taylor.

Argued with my cousin, a mole fan, how the 03 team would be as good as the previous two years.

He was like “ Y’all ain’t got no quarterback.”

I was telling him how Berlin was the number 1 prospect in the nation.

Never could have imagined he would be so bad under center.

Back then, running from shotgun was still a bunch of draw bull shit. Miami didn’t want to give up the running game is why I think they resisted the move.

I was a pro set purist, but watching Vince Young started my slow conversion to a spread proponent. Saw how a running back could really hit the hole with a head of steam or better yet get that massive cut back lane the zone is so good for.

The 03’ defense was championship caliber but the offense was average at best. The WR Corp was awful. Great talent, but we’re HUGE underachievers. The TN game was horrible for the offense.

The main thing I remember about the TN game in 03 was the acting the TN punter did. We stopped them and forced a punt. Punter fell without being touched. They got the 1st and went for winning score

Well tomorrow is the big day....we have been outside all week getting ready....been in the 30s...tomorrow snow coming in later....so it will be 30s windy cold....just perfect weather for championship football....it is funny how my opponent has been inside all week warm comfortable confident....we worked on the basics all week.....after 14 weeks one sometimes forgets fundamentals....we are very ready...calm, healthy, very rested and fixed on the goal of winning 1 more game....we just went over our cold weather gear.....I hope its in the high 20s.....we are really prepared....this is for you folks.....got to win something big....so....on we jam we will be WFO...Wide F**king Open ready to hit hurt and hate!!!

Thanks so much CGNC ....I keep telling myself i will stop coaching...heck i am 60...41 years....but I love it...the kids make the difference....This year i coached college and my 14 year olds....all were great kids...I love my guys...they make me feel young....if we win the SB tomorrow it will be 9 of last 12....we are going to dominate tomorrow...fundamentals block tackle ST....hit from opening whistle..low hard clean fast....should I smoke a bowl like CMRPa? thank you for your support CGNC...you are the best..like all on here!!!!
