FSU Comes To Coral Gables

The University of Miami men's basketball team returns home Sunday for a rivalry game against No. 23 Florida State at the Watsco Center. Game time is set for 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
 
The broadcast also streams online via the WatchESPN app. The Canes' radio broadcast airs on WQAM 560-AM and also streams on HurricaneSports.com, Radio.com and the TuneIn app. The Spanish radio broadcast airs on WTIG 990-AM ESPN Deportes.

• Miami is the only team among basketball's six power conferences with five players averaging at least 11.6 ppg apiece.

Couldn’t be sure if that tweet was for Matocha or for a new commitment. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a couple of silent commitments with about two weeks left before NSD. The visitor list this week and next week seems relatively short. Emerson or any of the other person on this list would be a nice pickup. He would solidify our class. I think CMD is being selective

Let The Herb say this, I generally am not enthused about a 3 star QB because they are a dime a dozen. Maybe they should have waited on Legendre but my philosophy is don't put off tomorrow what u can get done today. So we got it done and actually in watching some feel, the kid looks like he has some skills especially escapability. Who knows about the comp but with help the dude will help on down the road. Looks like he has a quick feet and a little speed.
These last few ships have to be home runs.
Emerson, Bogle and Hunter would be a good haul to finish up. Williams is iffy, Boykin could of been ours but unless they are sure about Bogle, then he is probably out. Richards would cap a rebound from the Dec. Signing day. Brothers is still out there and LBing is big need. Asante looks like Tech.
Transfer portal is a quick fix and sense we we're lack luster the first time around in crooting, was a necessity.
Saw one story where we were selling our soul to the portal, in not so many words.
Got to win. Manny knows this. He has seen how it has affected this recruiting class. Only way to stop the bleeding is to start being consistent winners. Stop gagging against chump teams. Beating FSU ain't helping us in recruiting as they smoked us, with the high school recruits. They sucked worst than we did and still, at worst will be a 15 and under class. Maybe it's our crooters. Got to be something. Hopefully these new Oh coaches can resinate with these kids. Already had about 9 decoms from the 20 class.
The results on the field are what's going to matter.

The Canes men basketball team can’t score enough to compete in the ACC. The lack of talent and depth is obvious. The Canes will definitely finish near the bottom of the conference and will be lucky to finish .500.

We are a mess as far as Mens Football, Baseball, and Basketball.
Honestly, I pull for all the teams to win, but I could care less about other sports. I am a football guy. I ran track and wrestled in HS but just to shape my football training. I just cannot watch any level of other sports...I can watch golf as it is a chess match vs nature....but I have too much of a softball swing to play it!
That being said, they should stop laying the pro bowl....those guys dont care neither do I!!

I can tolerate college hoops in March...tournament is cool. I hater Lebron so much and the NBA worse....it sucks. Baseball is ok in the fall for playoffs....I am working my guys out at HS and college getting ready for next season...football is year round for me!

VA, say it ain't so? U are not an all sports freak. Well The Herb ain't either. Basketball games inidate the TV channels so much, I'm puking at the moment.
March madness sweet 16 is when I will watch college. NBA is like watching paint dry, boring! 50 three pointers hoisted a game or dunks. I hope to think if I was 6'2 I could dunk. At 6'1 I could dunk a volleyball but the hands were too small to hold the BBall.
Love baseball. The Canes in 2017 & 18 couldn't hit and my guess it will be the same this year. Again, no way we should be 5 or 6 games over 500, especially in baseball. Being a baseball coach and knowing the weather in Florida and the talent their, the worse year we should have have is maybe an 18 to 20 loss team.

Back to football, I like the fact that Manny ain't filling the roster with a bunch of under under the radar 3 star reaches. Going after high caliber ranked kids. We ain't no doormat school. Golden started this crap by filling roster full of reaches. Never saw a ship he didn't want to hand out. Those things were burning his hands up.
Richt said he wasn't handing out ships to just anybody unless they were talented enough. He was right, he kept them dam things in his back pocket and let some positions go.
Manny, it's like trick or treat to him. Dude has a good rime. If u high school kids don't want to come, especially u premadonnas in So. Flo. Then we will go any where and anyhow to get talent. I'm loving the dude.
