So now all of you know it alls and wise guys can choke on it.
So many abused their blog priviledges to boast about how "Trump was a guilty and was going down". And oh, how wrong they were. Very wrong.
So many tried to implicate the President of the United States with no evidence because they hate the man. Now he is totally vindicated!
Your alleged "Hero of the day" Robert Mueller has found that there was NO COLLUSION OR OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE between our great President of the United States Donald Trump and Putin and the Russians and the DOJ.
Now you just watch at how quickly and swiftly the rebound effect comes in to play. All those comments and predictions just crashed and burned.
Stupid is as stupid does. And stupid will get you just as far as you deserve.
Payback is gonna be a bitch. The "Get Donald Trump" media collusion is going to crash and burn. Hillary Clinton, Rosenstein, Comey, McCabe, Lynch, Strzok, Page and the rest will be in jail soon. Sit back and enjoy the show.
This is going to grow in scope and size, and get much deeper than any Democrat wanted it to be. The consequences will be steep and severe and sudden.
Positive blog comments about Donald Trump will be welcomed. Negative ones will be seen as part of the collusion against the President.
Until then we will wait for the Democratic roaches scurry from the daylight into the darkness. Their time will come. And it will be soon.

Go Canes... No it won't. We have took it upon ourselves to divides us up into a couple of groups, picking a side and sticking to it at all costs. The division is everywhere and it's truly sad. Canespace is not that. We are all united because of our love for the same thing. The division we have on our social media pages, or the news channel we watch etc should be left there, not brought here. It's my opinion that if everyone here starts seeing each other as liberals or conservatives, Dems or Republicans and not as the cane family we see each other as now, this place will die. I love this place and many people here and just wish to keep that division elsewhere.

And our Baseball team struggling lately. And our Tennis Teams, Track and Field, Spring Football, and my day to day life consumes me so the hell with, Don ald, Hillary or whoever else in DC. They don't know me or care about me. So I could give a damn about them. Now Canespace Family that's different we love and care about each other. Y'all have a great day and week ahead. Much Love.

This is Tom's Blog he has put time energy and money into this project.
It is his right to write any article he feels the need too.
No one on here respects Tom more than I do, he knows that.
No one on here whispers in his ear when he might need advice more than I do.
I love Canes football. I love the folks on here, hell I even love soup.

As a rule I do not discuss politics, but I will say this. In the last few years I had a sudden epiphany one day. The system of somewhat peaceful coexistence between the two parties that we have seen up to this point may be ending. One side is going to ultimately crush the other, and we will end up with one party control similar to that maintained by Mexico under the PRI.
People are now increasingly viewing the other side as not just people with whom they disagree with, or even just people that are misinformed, but people that are evil. People who deserve to be silenced and punished. People that are not even human. And if we get to the point, where the opposition are subhumans...we’ve seen in history how that plays out.

I was banned twice. Once for politics and once for saying the players should be played.
But Canespace seems to be open for everything today. So here is the thing the blog is wrong in part.
Correct, not enough evidence to support collusion in the mind of Mueller. Incorrect because there was no conclusion on obstruction. The summary specifically said that the president was not exonerated regarding obstruction.
Which is fair enough.
However even without enough eveidence to support collusion they also said the Russians made attempts to influence the election in favor of the President.
In light of that I think reasonable people of different affiliations could have supported punishing them. However our President went against both chambers of Congress and decided to actually remove sanctions against the Russians. If you are okay with that so be it.
That being said. The President and his family has been in greater danger and is still under greater legal jeapordy from the other actual cases in New York and the other States.
Honestly my bigger personal problem is the idea that the Russians could possibly influence our elections which many around the world beleieve and all the intelligence agencies said they tried to do makes us look weak. The Emperor with no clothes.
To me government are like lawyers. Everyone hates them until you need them and then they are life savers. Not perfect but not the great evil.
I do worry about people going into silos. Unable to cross socioeconomic and idealogical positions. We are losing the ability to be cool with people of different views and we ate not allowing people to grow and change their minds. That is terrifying.

There is one issue that supporters of the President should use against his opponents. His opponents have stopped talking about Universal Health Care. The cyncical will say it's because he would sign it into law and his popularity would skyrocket and they don't want to give him that victory.

Trump nominated Whitaker and Barr to shutdown the Mueller probe and that's what they did.
Mueller "farmed out" 17 active investigations to multiple U.S. Attorneys and to the NYAG.
I hope everyone continues to support Bob Mueller regardless of the outcome of these cases. The guy is an American hero who conducted himself in a professional manner throughout this process.
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

This is simply not true and should not be stated as a known fact. Stating it as a fact because what you believe is not any way to conduct a debate. Someone had to be appointed when Sessions was fired. Whittaker was Acting AG and was temporarily placed in the position until the Barr nomination could get approved which he was. It is as simple as that. Barr is widely respected just like Mueller. Can't say he was hired to end the Mueller probe. The guy had TWO YEARS and found nothing while disrupting the government. What was it supposed to go on for all four years or is it eight?
I support Mueller and his conduct (with few minor exceptions) and conclusions. I support Barr as well as should you instead of insinuating without any basis in fact that he was brought in to "end the probe". That is not fair or balanced.
Posted by: 86Cane | March 25, 2019 at 04:52 PM
The only real way to “punish” Putin/Russia is to weaken Russia as an international power. The support of US domestic energy production and its impact on world oil and gas prices is the strategic counter play. Oil at $80-100+ a barrel is a tremendous pay off in Russia’s favor. The US producing at $30-40 a barrel, profitably, is making us the world’s largest energy exporter and a major impediment to Mr. Putin. Self-restriction of energy production plays directly into Russia’s hand and supports them.
Don’t get too sidetracked by what President Bozo says or tweets. Pay closer attention to what is done - whether you believe it’s him guiding policy or his advisors. You’ll see that this administration has not been a friend to Russia. I will politely abstain from the debate as to if this outcome is because of or in spite of the President.

Posted by: HillviewCane | March 25, 2019 at 03:40 PM
Keep the two issues separate and don't conflate them.
There was NO evidence to support collusion.
There was not ENOUGH evidence to charge him with obstruction.
The goals of a prosecutor is never to exonerate someone. They are not in the exoneration business. They either find enough evidence to charge someone or they don't. They never prove anyone innocent, only guilty beyond a reasonable doubt if they can. They couldn't.
Remember all along to you and many others argued that there was never any doubt that and you you wanted it to be true) that there was overwhelming evidence that Trump would to be found guilty and impeached and removed from office. That may still happen but not because of collusion which was the primary charge and reason for the entire investigation in the first place.
Don't get it twisted.

We don't know what's in the Mueller report or whether it was hobbled or shut down before it was finished.
As Tony said we're all in our own silo's. I'd like to see the report minus the secret stuff, and I'd like Congress to resolve the issue of obstruction that Mueller punted away. It's their job to do over site in this situation.
Don Jr. met with a Russian spy in Trump Tower and that spy is currently sitting in jail.
The Russians pumped 30 million into the 2016 election through the NRA and that was not covered in Barr's Cliff Notes.
These cases didn't go away, they were farmed out IMO. I'll trust Mueller's report if/when we get to analyse it.

This is the shortest Special Counsel investigation in modern history. Whitewater went on for 7 years.
Hillary was the subject of 31 Benghazi investigations that resulted in zero indictments.
This report did nothing to convince me that the investigation is over, and it's my opinion that many of the underlying cases were farmed out to protect them from obstruction.
With all that said I do not think any of this will be resolved before the 2020 election.

During the government shutdown when we were not paying our government employees Trump somehow had time to lift sanctions on Rusal Aluminum Co. which is directly linked to Putin through oligarch Oleg Deripaska. Why? We didn't lift our "Emergency Sanctions" for Canadian aluminum but somehow the Russians who who under real sanctions got a pass?
Read up on Rosneft Oil Co.

If Mueller himself came to your house and told you that there was no Trump collusion you still wouldn't believe it because you don't want to.
If anything was clear or obvious we know the investigation was allowed to play out until then end. Mueller said so, Trump said so (I know doesn't count) and Barr said so (I know doesn't count.). You just can't accept it.
Go on believing all of the negative stuff you want because you want to. I am sure it helps you sleep better at night absolutely convinced that there is a Russian spy living in the White House at Presidnet of the U.S. even when your best friend Robert Mueller said there is not.

This blog proves the most important point of all of this.
The Russian “interference” didn’t change a single voters mind about anything.
These were the two most polarizing figures in the history of politics. No one decided to vote for one or the other because a bunch of misinformation peddlers pushed fake stories about Clinton or Trump.

I never said he would be impeached. I personally think that would not be the best outcome. The best result would have been ongoing issues bringing down his poll #s which if he keeps tweeting or seeks payback is bound to happen. He would get in more trouble for attempts at retribution.
I do think that there was inovlvememnt with the Russians. Russian hackers hit voting systems in 39 states. Which is why there were indictments against Russian agents.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-06-13/russian-breach-of-39-states-threatens-future-u-s-elections
Mueller's report "summary"says there isn't enough to prove it done in sync with Trump Fair enough, it's the system we have.
However there is a difference between not being being able to prove guilt and not having engaged in wrong doing.
Look at John Gotti. The govt failed for years to make anything stick to him. Do you really think that means he was innocent? You are a savvy fellow. The govt never got him until they got rid of his attorney after about 10 years.
That being said for me personally if I saw health care for all added, saving the lives of millions, I would consider most other issues with the President a wash
