Numero UNO

1. Remember your friend that said we would be an 8-4 team year in and year out, maybe win 10 games once in awhile?

2. Having a qb throw at 60+ percent is the biggest challenge I see right now.

1. Yes I do, and because of my faith in the team and the blog, I hated you at the time for saying that but you were 100% correct.

2. What a concept! If we throw for 60% ompletion rate AND with room to to run we are deadly. If not, we will still suck.

Michael Jackson ran a 4.45 40 yard dash and Sheldrick Redwine ran a 4.4 40 yard dash. That should help their draft prospects tremendously. Jaquan ran a 4.69. He was the greatest player on a great Canes defense at times, but that slow 40 time definitely hurts his draft prospects

Mike Jack just ran himself into the first round.

Red wine has upside and will probably continue to improve at safety.

Jaquan will play in the league, but probably he cost himself some first contract dollars with that piss poor 40. I was hoping he would run a 4.55-4.6 flat.

Oh well, at least he has some good tape out there.

I am am HUGE JJ fan because he was from Miami Killian HS (like me) but his play and performance faded over time as did his speed. I think he lost his mojo. I wish him well.

Go Canes!!

He battled injury his whole senior year so I don’t think faded is the right word.

That being said I wouldn’t be surprised if Redwine got drafted before him.

Go Canes!!

Jess Simpson gone to the NFL.

Big loss.

His replacement ain’t no broke though....

Not a word from Manny wishing Simpson well in the NFL,ask Temple about what goes around comes around.

Our new DL coach.

UCF is now ranked in the top 25 in men's basketball.
How is it that UCF has a better team than UM?
How is it that FSU has a better team than UM?
Why is it that UM ranks near the bottom of the ACC?
On SENIOR DAY we really need to say GOOD BYE to our senior coach.
"It's been nice knowing you. But it's time to move on."

Incidentally, UM plays PITT tonight in the big "Battle For The Bottom" of the ACC. Pity the poor announcers who have to hype up interest in the game.

Big loss.

Was a fan of Simpson. Now we have a former Zip. Should be interesting.

Wowsers! Tough guy!

Old Skool

Anthony Lawrence's 27 keeps the U out of the ACC cellar.

Terrance Sullivan

Always Good to win on Senior Night.

Will miss Coach Simpson, but its hard to turn down the NFL. I guess we were lucky to have him. It is interesting that Coach Kul wasn't called back. I guess that means that CMD felt Stroud was better. Stroud certainly has more experience, and the defense could use an experienced coach in the room

BWC...I have no idea what the relationship between Diaz and Coach Kul was but I believe the differences are significant age difference that Diaz probably feels much more comfortable with Stroud and Stroud is seen as a recruiting dynamo while Kul was reportedly not a big fan of the recruiting game. That is my guess.

I'm hearing rumors out their that Martell is approved to play right away! Huge if true!

Enos really really likes Martell!
