I loved the old Orange bowl hack in the 50's, 60's and 70's.

I believe I watched every Orange Bowl game 54 through 60 plus all Canes games. Also sold the old rest backs, Those were good days back then will never forget them.Sometimes we would just sneak in find a seat on upper deck and just keep moving around. There was this one old guy that was always trying to catch us. After I graduated from Miami senior High school in 1960 I quit doing those kind of things, man it was fun while we were doing it.

One more thing I also worked on the old girl when I was an Iron worker.
So you see the Orange bowl is very special to me.
OK i'm done.

Great Stuff Harry Miller. Love The Space.

Go Canes!!

ACC revenues have doubled in the last 5 years. And that’s BEFORE the launch of the ACC Network.

Miami’s days of crying poor are over:

Harry,
I love hearing your stories,
Selmer was just leaving and Saban was coming in about the third year I got serious about the Canes.

Saban to me faced the biggest hurdles of all Miami coaches.
He had double bypass heart surgery right when he came here, then ten days before we opened the season against Ohio State his wife committed suicide,
Talk about distraction.

I thought about that when Golden began complaining about how tough being Miami's football coach was.

Male Canes teams find endless was to break hearts, its Canes thing.

Love reading all of your memories about the great Orange Bowl. I was at the U from 1966 to 1970, during the real old days. Bitched all the time, riding buses from the school to the stadium, waiting in line to go to the bathroom, (guys are lucky), trying to avoid all the urine on the floors, from overflowing toilets, or no other place to pee. What memories!
The best was when the place was full, everyone stomping on the floor in each row, hoping that she wouldn't collapse, and looking at the full moon! Simply breathtaking. Lucky the old girl stood through all of that. Those are real memories.
Have a fun safe holiday everyone.
GO CANES
All the best to Tom.

Miami did manage to get some vengeance against UNC however. UM tennis phenom and no. 1 ranked player in the nation, Estela Perez-Somarriba, defeated UNC’s Cameron Morra to punch her ticket to the National Championship! She’ll face the no. 2 ranked player in the nation today, Georgia’s Katarina Jokic.

In honor of Memorial Day, this is an excellent read!!! One Marine's account of the battle of Faluja 15 years ago in which 82 of his fellow service members died.

Soup,
good memories my friend.
I even read the comments and being older and wiser I realize dj moonbat wasn't a really bad dude, he was just out of his mind 90% of the time.
Again thanks for taking time to dig that article back up.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY TO EVERY VETERAN PAST AND PRESENT
