This has been a ‘crazy’ season
We need to ‘come together’ as a team and ‘walk this way’ (as our JJ and DE ‘train kept a rolling’)
I don’t want to ‘dream on’ and ‘I don’t want to miss a thing’ Saturday but I hope we win
I’ll be even more ‘jaded’ towards manny if we lose!
Best I can do this early
Yeah and we will start out number 1 or 2 in recruiting only to fade into the sunlight.
FSU has played 14 Db's this year and all have played in 4 or more games. Do we even have 10 Db's on the roster?

- i see that we get pinckney, thomas & dj back
good!
. . . but to my surprise, i actually prefer kj osbourne fielding punts
- i hate saying this, but i think we will miss by about a field goal
. . . which is preferable than missing by an extra point (wasn't it vs fsu that that happened?)
- i also think jarren starts and is on the wrong end of a sack n fumble

who be these "people"?
- fsu is favored to win
- here on the blog i don't think anyone EXPECTS the canes to win ... with some, there's possibly a "hope outweighs reason" feeling ... or maybe just a feeling of it being wrong not to predict a canes win, unless we play a powerhouse, like clemson/alabama/etc.
- i predicted an fsu win, but i already wish i had simply kept my mouth shut
- terrance predicted an fsu win and it caused him to eat his lunch twice

Most of us do simply because even though hope and faith have left the building, our blind love still remains for the Canes. And not because we think we are great but because we think FSU is even worse than we are.
To be honest I don't think any of us know if the game will end 34-13 Miami wins or 13-34 FSU wins. But we do know that the game will end in the score of 34-13 one way or another. That much is obvious.

💯! I blindly love my Canes regardless of whether they win national championships or not. I definitely don’t like losing, and I am not convinced that CMD is the right coach to get the Canes back into a state of relevancy. Right now, I see some weaknesses in his player/recruiting evaluations and player development systems. I also see some roster management concerns. I read he likes analytics, and that’s good. But I don’t see him excelling at the other coaching elements, but I could be wrong. It’s great to see the Virginia and Pitt wins, but the VT and GT losses at home were just plain bad performances. I hope CMD improves as this thing goes along.
That said, I will continue to cheer for CMD, Jarren, Perry or any other player in a Canes uniform.
I hate the way we have played look, execute....rather do not,
but I pull for them every game....Sat was not great as far as play, but the kids at least were determined to win....coaches wanted it too. Maybe that plus FSU gets a little pulse going.
I see a lot of issues and call out what peeves me, but ya got to pull for the canes....just life and lets hope it steps up!!
cb's: are bandy, ivey & blades . . . + the 2 frosh, christian williams & te`cory couch, who i believe is redshirting
safeties + that specially named position regarding "roving linebacker" (what's it called?): finley, knowles, carter, bolden, hall, frierson
+ 1 redshirting frosh, keontra smith
take away the 2 redshirts and we're down to 10 for 4-5 positions
. . . we've been lucky, and we need to stay lucky, regarding injuries
. . . and we need refs not calling out targetting so easily on the canes side
But it may be better. I think many top tier athletes would have stayed in school longer if they could have gotten paid something. Whether to get a degree or just enjoy college.
More importantly though it removes a line of attack againt the NCAA's creditibliity. The NCAA vote was unanimous because they knew their position was not defensible. The time was overdue.
But it may be better.

Miami has 8 cornerbacks on the roster, 4 you have heard of and 4 you have never heard of.
Miami has 7 safeties on the roster, 5 you have heard of and 2 you have never heard of.
Not sure exactly how many have played but among the ones you have heard of all have played (8-9).

I agree. I am pretty certain that to win 34-13 we will most likely have to have the lead in the fourth quarter, so yeah, there is that.

There are only two constants this season.
1) We will have the lead in the fourth. 8 for 8 so far this season.
2) We will miss a FG. Or two. Or three. Not really sure if that one is also 8 for 8, but it sure as hell feels that way.

I expect us to win, for one simple reason.
FSU is soft and they quit when they face adversity.
This team, no matter how bad they start or how poorly they execute, will battle to the bitter end. And imo that's what it will take to win this one.
