We would have been perfectly happy with a convincing 34-13 victory.
We would have been happy with any win after consecutive losses against Duke.
We would have settled for a last minute kickoff return for a miracle touchdown.
But no, instead your Hurricanes decided to finally open up a rather large bottle of perfectly aged whoop ass on the Blue Devils to the tune of 48-0.
And oh, let me tell you the truth, that tune sounded so good!
Miami finally played liked they meant it, and the final score showed it. The back-ups got to play in the fourth quarter as planned and everything. It was almost like the good old days and almost too good to be true.
So it now appears that this guy named Manny who happens to be the head coach at UM may actually be on to something here. It is still to early to tell but he apparently has things headed in the right direction at the current time.
We like that. And yeah, we have to admit, we like that a lot.
Now Coach, about that next game against North Carolina...

Third time in 25 years thatโs we are 8-1.
Last Saturdayโs game was Miamiโs largest margin of victory against Duke during that time.
It might be a few years before Frost lands another Florida recruit.

Turned off the basketball because thye were getting stomped. Then saw the score roll across the bottom of the screen. That will teach me. I love a great comeback, looks like I missed one. Pisses me off.

i was so close to doing the same at halftime
. . . but something akin to, "hope is last to die" allowed me to stick around to see the beginning; and though i didn't feel real hopeful until the last few minutes, it was nice to finally see the canes playing a decent game; which was enough to keep me tuned in

Thank U Sir. Trying to be "fair and balanced". Be positive when I can and negative when I have to be. Call the balls and strikes like I see them. All I can do.

LSU self imposed a bowl ban on itself for 2020. That was a easy decision considering they are 3-5 and about to be 3-6 after The Crocs pound them this weekend.

Rub it in I deserve it. They looked so bad I didn't even go back and check the score. Just goes to show you, you never know.
I didn't miss any of those football wins though they looked bad a few times. Enjoy every one of them.

Matt Baker in the TB Times makes interesting comparisons in praising Diaz' moves after a losing season noting
Wille Taggart took both steps after his 5-7 season at Florida State in 2018, adding Kendal Briles as his offensive coordinator and Wisconsinโs Alex Hornibrook as his grad transfer passer. FAIL
Will Muschamp cycled through three offensive coordinators in four years at Florida. Jim McElwain signed Notre Dame grad transfer quarterback Malik Zaire before his third and final season with the Gators.

CANESPACE rule #1. Never turn the game off, and never leave a game early. I learned those things as a little girl in the 1950โs. from my dad. Good advice then and good advice now. GO CANES!

So in the early days of the blog the rules were:
Show up.
Stay to the end.
Good things will happen.
Those were the days...

It certainly matters we need to end on a high note a win. Not sure what I think about how it will go but I want to win...
Lombardi a great coach when it was the REAL game not all these funny little penalties tuck rules, catch rules cant hit the QB rules 5 yard DB rules...they suck...
Vince said "Winning is everything, but WANTING to win is the only thing!" I want to win every time out...so lets win today!!!!
I love UM football but not much on following the other sports....I AM a football guy....so when the seasons over I chill and plan for next season with my teams and my favs...do not watch hoops baseball etc...want UM to win but just glance at it...nevertheless I want UM to win everything they do and am proud of them!!!
