When this men's college basketball season started not much was expected of your Miami Hurricanes. They were picked by "experts" to finish 12th in the ACC.
Some said they were short on talent, short in height and short on bench depth.
Some fans said their coach was old and tired and should be moving on.
Most people agreed that the Hurricanes would go quietly into the good night.
Turns out that these people were very wrong. In fact, they were dead wrong.
Coach Jim Larranaga delivered a coaching performance for the ages in shaping and molding the 2022 Miami team into something nobody expected.
A beautiful group of hard fighting, never say die, collection of misfits who exceeded all expectations and made it to the Elite Eight of the NCAA finals for the first time in UM history. We will take that anytime!
So on this short, but sweet note, we would like to thank Coach Larranaga and the 2022 men's basketball team for one hell of a fun and exciting ride.
You have earned our great respect and our sincere gratitude.
It was certainly not expected, and definitely exceeded all of our expectations.
Cody Brown to the portal jon.

Sorry I have been asleep at the wheel for a few. Been busy with renewing my real estate license in March and tax returns in April. I will get back at it after Easter weekend.
To all Canespacers...be well, be blessed and may the glory of God protect you all. He is risen!

Crowded RB room these days. Brown likely wasn't going to see much playing time without a host of injuries. Probably a good move for him, although sorry to see him have to bounce a 2nd time. Good luck to him.

Between Parrish, Franklin, Chaney and knighten we are in great shape! But I do agree, with the injuries you need depth

It appears big OL trf Mims is at fsu; canes feel good that IF he leaves to come visit the U today (or tomorrow/ I can’t remember) with mom that we will get him. The problem is the big ‘IF’
Pretty sure if we get him, he’s our immediate RT for 2022 and then moves to LT.

Top of the 5th the Canes plate 3 to make the gap a bit more reachable at 6-3.
