Your Miami Hurricanes could have slept walked through their first three games of the 2024 season and still have won. That all changes this week when they travel to Tampa to face the quickly improving University of South Florida.
In case you were not paying attention, USF gave Alabama all they could handle for the entire first half before the Crimson Tide rolled away with the game in the second half. With Miami's notorious ever. so. slow. starts, this could make this game way too exciting, and much too close, for UM fans early on.
So in week four we will find out if your Miami Hurricanes are a well oiled, properly coached and highly montivated team or not.
No sleeping at the wheel boys or you could find your current "dream season" destroyed by an in State little brother.
Sure, we know that we slayed the Gators in Gainesville, and we respect you for that. But the question in front of us now is can you run with the Bulls? Time will tell and we certainly hope you have your eyes wide open going into Tampa.
Nice test this weekend for the Canes on the road at USF. Them hanging with Bama for 3 quarters probably has the players attention, so hopefully no let down and they show up to go all out.

The Canes WILL WIN, but I am betting the UNDER 65 points and that the Canes will win by less than 17.5. If they bust both I will still be VERY HAPPY!

I sold off a point and a half on the total for better odds return on the bet and have under 63.5 for this game.
No half game point total wagered for it, yet, though. USF likes to get after the QB, Kevin Patrick will leave stopping the run game on the plate of the LB coach for the Bulls instead of his portion of the defense, so UM will lean heavily on the road more towards the rushing attack, which is going to churn clock faster, is what I'm expecting.

I need a few good lucky wins. Had my Colonoscopy yesterday and it came back positive, with a mass in the colon. Most likely, I will have to have surgery. Tough times for me, with my Richard gone. The football games and all of you are what I have left.🙏❤️

I read Soup’s comment about the heat at Raymond James Stadium and I concur. That place is like a sauna. If you can buy a seat with club level access then pull the trigger! I don’t care that it’s at night, you will want access to a/c.
They should retrofit the stadium like Hard Rock.

I don’t like the fact that the NFL is playing games on Thursday. It steals revenue from colleges on a night that they held exclusively. And I don’t like that colleges play on Friday nights. It steals revenue from high school teams.

I would like to finally see the run game take off. I mean, we got 2 of the best Oh Line coaches in the country plus one of the best lines in the country.
Turn Ward loose. They won't be able to stop us. We have to many weapons. Should be a video game but continue taming the road.

Can’t wait for Saturday night! Not good news for me. Looks like at age 76, I have colon cancer and will need surgery. I’m a Cane for life, having graduated from the U in 1970. I have 2 RN family members who will help me, but it’s tough at my age. Hopefully it is in an early stage, but we shall see.

USF gets to feel good about getting beat by five TD's I guess, maybe the concern troll should head over to a Bull blog to big up that amazing final score feat. Heisman front runner is now going to be targeted by the refs as well as the opposing defense, maybe he's got one last gear of overdrive to shift his game into to counter, we'll see.
Line needs to get healthy on the off week for conference play, which would make the ceiling be the floor this year. That right before halftime shot to the heart from Ward to Sam Brown was as big time a statement as this program has made since I was in college I thought. Just keep going undefeated versus the bye week in order to roll that over against the most overrated piece of crap school sucking this terrible conference down the drain with their 'me too' inclusion in realignment decades ago. Scheduling a home game on a Friday should be opted out of every time they try and make UM do it for recruiting reasons, make the disruptive partner pair do that crap instead, stupid failing league.

About dem Friday games, it does suck because the high school kid has 2 options, the hell with game and go watch the Canes or go play their game at any rate with all the penalty flags being tossed, they could go play their game and be at the rock at 10 and still watch the entire 2nd half.
This team is no joke. Cam Ward is an ice box on the field. I mean he scans the field like a lazer and zeros in on a target. No matter what u do, he has an answer.
Watching all these games their are only a couple who I think could keep up with us and that would be OSU and Texas. Even our defense is nasty. At this point I don't know if we could do our usual and give a game away.
