Glad to see the ladies off to a roraring start!!!!!
Ladies sports have really set a winning trend for us...football....not so much! Our ladies are great!
I know OGV is fired up with the start of mens hoops...3-0 is a good way to start OGV...I'll be following but always appreciate your input!!!
So we must win these last 2 games to get into the ACC title game we focus on Wake first...and no it will not be EZ...it never is EZ!!!! id you are UM...ever!!!
Beat WF focus all week 12pm start Saturday Home....must win. Get the doo doo cleaned up...clean the doo doo out ofthe O and D stables!!!! We have stunk for several weeks now!!!
Run and pass nice mixture...no Whipple WR screens...down the damn field. It all will depend on the run and pass block. Cam must be smart....if it gets dire real dire...CM you have done well this year...but do not try that cape on every play! Be smart.
The D...where do I start? Run...use your hands stay in lanes head up on runs all of you! Pass get pressure but do not get too packed in more pressure less time to expose secondary and LBs in pass game. Tackle tackle tackle....wrap up no grabbing. Coverage focus on your job....no grabs or holds!
ST...good so far.
Overall be smart play hard aggressive...but smart! No stupid penalties offside jumping holding unnecessary roughness or unsportsmanlike!
Me and Sota had a nice chat...solved all UMs and worlds problems!!!! LOL good to speak to my good buddy!!!!

Well, I'll be satisfied when they stop giving up 40 or yards on 4 or 5 chunk plays a game. The red zone dee has sacked. Hold them to FG's.
Ward has got to start dumping a few off and hitting TE's more. Arroyo should be averaging about 5 balls a game.
We should truck these dudes but in Miami fashion it will end up being 10 pts or less. They maybe starting a backup qb and we definitely are real hospitable to those dudes.

Good to talk to you as well, VA. Glad you’re getting better.

Here’s the skinny from the link VA Cane posted. You’d need to be a lawyer to decipher the rest of the tie-breakers!😂
“Our guess, however, is that SMU wins out in ACC play and faces Miami, which wins its last two conference games. That is our best bet for the ACC championship game on Dec. 7.”

I’m not sure Miami’s defense will match up well with Syracuse or SMU, but that’s why they play the game!
Go ‘canes!

Sota- if we don’t win out we don’t deserve to be in the championship game and lol, our D and lousy DC don’t match up well with any offense!
Posted by: AeroCane | November 20, 2024 at 06:07 PM
Well said Aero....I often think of my Highland Springs Springers 5A State Title Team....our O averaged 49 a game while my D gave up 4.6 a game over 15 games....hmmmmmm we might get smoked by my kids.
I'm all in for beatig WF....we got to focus on them. Then the Orange. Thier QB is pretty good, and I watched SMU their QB a lot like ours.
We focus on WF Sat t 12 pm. Must win!

what have I missed??

Drake wants to grind the game into a street brawl, UM might want to attempt to get out and run on them for easy transition buckets and will need to shoot the three well. Miami will have significant size advantage in the post but that ebbs away as you get into the two shorter UM combo guards if they are on the floor together, this is a real test and they will need to hit free throws in the clutch to land it safely in the win column most likely.

Keep getting owned on the boards, while not wanting to defend the paint and it'll be another long season quickly.
Refs aren't interested in putting UM on the line more than they have to so get ready to have to absorb at least two fouls to draw a single whistle from them the rest of this game for sure.

Looks like Drake is going to win by 10 or more
