After a dominant 42-14 win over Wake Forest, the Miami Hurricanes rose in both major college football polls released Sunday.
Miami jumped three spots to No. 8 in the Associated Press Top 25.
In the US LBM Coaches Poll, the Hurricanes moved up to seventh after checking in at No. 10 a week ago.
Miami was seeded third and listed eighth in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings unveiled last week.
The Hurricanes (10-1) are off to their best start in seven years and remain the top-ranked program in the Atlantic Coast Conference, joined in the polls by No. 9/9 SMU and No. 12/12 Clemson.
Miami wraps up its regular season slate against Syracuse at the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Shake it Bake it Wrap it up dont Break it and Jerry Lee Lewis will be glad to Take it!!!
I do not know if I believe it or not but 10-1 is an improvement over the last 21 years for me...since Fiesta loss to OSU....or Stop The Steal Bowl!!!!!
Its been crazy, but the kids have played hard....not always smart or great....but the effort has been there!!!!

This dose of rat poison in online article form says UM is in the 'near lock' portion of the contenders with a game to go in the regular season and a game against the new ACC paying their own way team potentially to go before seeding is handed out. A successful season if it were to happen.
"Miami: The Hurricanes will advance in Tuesday's fourth CFP Rankings after Alabama and Indiana faltered in Week 13. If Miami beats Syracuse during rivalry week, Mario Cristobal's squad moves into lock status inside the top 12 regardless of the following week's result against SMU in the ACC Championship Game.
A victory over the Orange would be Miami's 11th win of the season and trumps any potential nine-win teams in the discussion, or potential two-loss AAC champion Army or Tulane, two squads lacking quality victories."

They just gave Mario a HUGE 8 year contract extension. Sorry to say but that all but guarantees a loss against The Cuse.
